SECRET FENG SHUI POSITION TIPS FOR THE YEAR 2007 IN THE HOUSE WHERE FENG SHUI MASTER WOULD NEVER REVIEW

The practices of FENG SHUI run a wide gamut of principles, most of which have been proven to work for centuries already. Its being adopted continuously over the years may have proven its validity as a practice where not everything is understood from another cultures point of view but is effective nonetheless. Today, Feng shui is gaining a growing popularity even in cultures that considered it at first with suspicion. And so the curiosity continues.

To gain a peek at it without having to go and consult Feng Shui practitioners, here are more free Feng Shui tips for the year 2007 that are practical.

Feng Shui Position of family members in the house

Surprisingly, all directions and corners in the household could influence particular family member stronger than the other. Most feng shui practitioners would not like to review how it will influence. Over here I will try to explain simplify.

First of all, let?s take a look at the structure of the compass. The compass is an important tool for finding feng shui directions. There are 4 directions that need to identify without fail and they are the direction of the north, the south, the east and the west. You may be laughing, is it that difficult to know the direction of a compass? However, according to some finding, one out of 5 may not know how to use the compass correctly.

Few realized that using a normal western compass, the red tips are always pointed to the north direction. However, a Chinese compass, or ?luo pan? feng shui compass, the red tip is pointing in the direction of the south. Chinese ?compass? if translated literally means ?pointing south needle?. Therefore before you used a compass, check with the vendors if the red tip is pointing to the north direction or pointing to the south direction.

Here in the explanation, the Chinese way of explaining direction are used. It is no different, just the orientation.

Feng shui is widely used by the kings and queens of ancient times. The latest historical site is the Forbidden City where the whole palace is building sitting on the north and its gate facing the south. The emperor sits at the extreme top or north direction of the country and looking down to the south. So it was not surprising that compass is design to point to the south.

During war time in ancient china, feng shui and the person birth year and date were used to determine who goes to war and with whom. Who are they against with and when it?s the best time to strike to gain superior foothold. This show how important feng shui was and still is in the heart and mind of the Chinese people. Even after a person death, good feng shui place for burial are highly sort after so as to help prosper the living descendant.

There are five elements in feng shui and they are the elements of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Soil. North direction symbolizes the element of water while South direction symbolizes the element of fire. West direction symbolized gold element while East direction symbolized wood element. One quarter of the world population belong to the water element while one quarter of the population belong to the fire element and one quarter of the population belong to the wood element and last one quarter of the population belong to the gold element.

Example: A person born in 1966 will be by default belong to the south and fire element. A person born in 1967 will be by default belong to east and wood element A person born in 1968 will be by default belong to north and water element A person born in 1969 will be by default belong to the west and gold element A person born in 1970 will be by default belong to the south again and fire element A person born in 1971 will be by default belong to east and wood element again

And so on

? First Born daughter position South (fire) ? Second born daughter position ? Fire element Wife position East (wood) ? First born son position

West( gold) ? Last born daughter position

? Last born son position ? Second born son position

North (water) Husband Position

In the house corners feng shui, the family members are symbolize as follows;

North West position?Husband position or breadwinner positions. South west position ? Wife position East position--1st son position West position?Last daughter position North position?2nd son position South position?2nd daughter position South east position?1st daughter position North east position?last son position

That is to say, each corners of the house represent a family member or members. For example, if you are living with your father, than the North West position will be your father position. If your father have retire and you are the sole bread winner now, than it means that you too are sharing the same positions of northwest in the house as your father plus your own position in the house.

Feng Shui is never fixed just like the wind and water always ever changing its direction, properties and abilities. Adopt clean living in all aspects of your personal life. While this may sound like nothing new, a little metaphysical perhaps, a tip that everyone already knows, this is in reality the main principle where Feng shui is hinged on. Feng means Wind and Shui means Water. To achieve balance and harmony in wind and water thereby attracting the good energy force that flows in it. For example, if you are the husband in the house, the direction of North-West should be kept absolutely clean. If you are the wife in the house, the direction of the South-West should be kept absolute clean. If you have a first born son, the direction of the East should be kept absolutely clean and if you have a first born girl, the direction of the South East should be kept absolutely clean. Avoid clutter at corners of house as the bad energy will accumulate and influence the character and prospect of the person who belong to that corner and directions.

That is to say, first and foremost, good feng shui begins with cleanliness in the house. Clearing away unwanted stuffs that have been sitting at the corners for years and collecting dust could immediately help not only your health but influences also your future life. Without doing these steps, there are no feng shui to begin with. The ability of the wind to circulate in the room or house is the key point in influencing a good feng shui. If at this point of time, if there are many items that are pilling up at the corner of the house and you are not winning to depart with it, just think this way;

Is the pile up stuffs ready needed for your life? When is the last time you have touch those stuff? Everyday, once a year, once in ten years? Those stuff that is collecting dust at the corners are just stuff that are nice to have or a need to have? One day for example, if those stuffs that have been there are being stolen or burnt down. Will you be spending money to buy back the same items again? I guess you already know the answer. Feng Shui begins also mentally clearing our mind of unnecessary thing. Just like those stuff sitting in the corner of the room. It reflects our mind conditions. Therefore, once you have finished reading this article, clear up that unnecessary stuff so as to immediately get good feng shui in the house or room. Especially this year 2007 is a boar feng shui year.

You will feel happier and relief once you are able to clear some of those unwanted items.

Next is to know the important of the direction and how it will influences the members in the family by sighting an example. Once, there was a parent who complaint that their first born son is like rubbish and is a good for nothing. He never tired to find works and did not like to bath. His results in school than was great in the beginning but turn slowly from bad to worst. On the contrary, his second son is doing so well and now he is a working in a financial institute earning a good deal of salary. Why is this so?

After careful investigation, suddenly the parent understood that the east direction of the house were redesign to hold unwanted rubbish. They further understood that by placing rubbish over at the corners, indirectly the first son character is being influencing.

Secret feng shui of the boar year 2007 that Husband and Wife should know in the house position.

As a married couple, one important expects is to create a happy, harmony and wealthy family unit. Therefore it is in the heart of all husband and wife that their spouse remains faithful to each other. There are many prevention ways to remain faithful and one of them is through using feng shui.

Do not place any picture of the opposite sex on North West and south west corners wall. That is, do not place a female photograph in the North West direction corner of the house other than the wife photograph. Instead, replace with couple wedding photograph or family photograph.

Since the North West direction belong to the husband and if there is a picture of a woman or women other than his wife, there is a possibility that his girlfriend or girlfriends will look similar to the photographs that have been put up. Or if one of the 12 symbolic animals is placed together on the North West corner, it means he will have a chance to meet the girl born in the year that symbolizes the animal.

This applied to the south west corner wall. Never place a male photograph at the wall or she will have a chance to meet a guy who looks and feels like the picture. Instead, place the husband photo or family photograph. Therefore be careful about what is place at these 2 corners.

If you place a safe box in northwest or southwest direction, there is a chance that the husband or wife will prosper in his or her job.

This will apply to the children position. In the east direction, if a female picture is place, he will have a wife similar to the picture that is place over there.

Last for the daughter, if a handsome photograph is place at the south east corner of the room, she will find a husband similar in looks and shape.

Above are some information on feng shui and its applications.

3 Essential Feng Shui Tips

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Feng shui is the art of arranging your physical space to assist the energy (or ?chi?) to flow without hindrance. While the practice of feng shui originates from China, it has become widely popular with people who care about how their spaces look and feel ? and with what kind of life experience one has within those spaces.

Many books have been written on the topic of feng shui, especially as Westerners want and need to adapt the feng shui principles into modern Western settings of their homes, offices, and buildings. We will not address the entire feng shui system, or all of its practices. Instead, we will share with you the 3 essential steps you first need to know, to get you started.

1) The map. The Chinese call this 8-sided map the Ba Gua. It tells what kinds of activities properly belong in which parts of any given space, whether a room, an office, or an entire house. That is important information to know, if one wishes to create harmony and good energy flow within their space.

The usual kinds of activities assigned to the eight areas of your space are:

● Work/Career

● Relationships/Love

● Health

● Fortunate Blessings (Prosperity)/Wealth

● Center/Harmony

● Helpful Friends/Networking

● Creativity/Children

● Spirituality/Connection with Source

● Inner Fulfillment/Education

It is important to know where within your space each kind of activity will receive the maximum life force energy ? and what kinds of things will obstruct it. After you know that, it is simple to create an auspicious environment where what you wish to happen can easily and harmoniously unfold.

2) Clear the space. Before you even start to do feng shui work on a new or established space, you need to clear the energy that is already there. Why? Because energy attaches to surfaces, and can be held within objects. It is important to learn how to clear and cleanse the area first, to remove stale or unwanted energies, and to invite new, fresh life force into the space.

While you can burn incense or ?smudge? (Native American sacred herbs) before starting the feng shui process, there is a new product available that is even better at clearing energy from spaces. It is called Blue Eagle Invocation? Liquid Smudge. It is based on the dry herb formula and was created by traditional Native Americans in a sacred way.

The Invocation? immediately reaches the stale or trapped energy in all areas of the space, dispels negativity, and provides a clean fresh new start. Invocation? is actually more effective for feng shui than burning incense or herbs, because the properties of the ingredientds are amplified, not consumed. And it can be used in places where it is not possible to burn things (such as office spaces, clinics or hospitals.)

In any case, you must consider how to best clear the space you wish to prepare for your feng shui work. Whether you choose to burn incense, herbs, or to use the new Liquid Smudge formula, the clearing must be done.

3) Install corrective elements to enhance and balance the energy of your space. This last step is the hardest part of feng shui work, but you can easily find what you need in any of the many great books on this topic at your local library, or online.

The standard calendar used in today society is mainly the Georgian calendar. Some may not know that there are others types of calendar that human race have been using and is still using now in their society. The Chinese calendar (traditional calendar) uses the lunisolar calendar which incorporates the calendar of the lunar (moon, yin) and the solar (sun, yang). Simply it can also be refer to as the farmer or agricultural calendar. It is used extensively before and now to denote the starting of the agricultural season like when to plant their crops. It is also used to check the raising and falling sea tide as the moon gravitation pull will affect the earth sea tide and seasons. In Feng shui the solar calendar is used instead of the agricultural calendar. This is because it is important to know when the starting of each season is. Detail of how the seasons will affect a person well being will be cover in later articles.

Fifteen degree intervals is equally space out along the ecliptic, including the solstices and equinoxes, which added up to a total of 24 equally space points.

  • Once the sun reaches 315? it symbolizes the starting of Spring and is around the Gregorian calendar of February 4.

As a thumb of rule in feng shui, according to certain seasonal food we consume, we are able to distinguished when a person is born approximately in which month just by viewing from their face bone structure and body structure. Either they belong to the fire element structure or water element structure. That is because by particular food we consume in seasons produces, our human anatomy structure will be different. Some Korean physician still uses this technique of study of viewing the face structure so as to apply the right elements for the human body harmonization. In addition, from their seasons of birth, we can determine what elements are lacking from their big environment. By understanding their lacking elements, feng shui practitioner will be able to advise accordingly to help them achieve harmonization.

In the ancient days, traditional Chinese physician are also good feng shui master because the system of understand the 5 elements is organized and doctrine by the same person who happens to be a famous Chinese traditional physician. Feng shui in simple layman language can be explained by this way; and that is harmonizing of the big environment that we live in, the big universe, and human system is Feng Shui (CHI and XUE) of the smaller universal.

Now, since we are able to consume variety of food in all the wrong seasons, does that means that we can no longer be able to used feng shui accurately together with the solar calendar? The answer is No; because all the information?s is keep from generation to generation until today through DNA. Yes our DNA actually contains many information from the past. That is why there is a term call genetics heritage. That is to say, what happen in the past of our ancestor will be left and contain in our genes as some report suggested.

You may now be able to appreciate more that Feng Shu is a technology and science left by ancient forefather through their long years of study and observations in natural and human system. It is not just hanky panky stuff out of the blue.

There is something about shapes of buildings, which in feng shui are associated with one of the five elements. Basically, these shapes are; square or cube, rectangle, the circle or sphere, the wave or curve liner, and the pyramid or triangle. Each of this shape represents or associate with five of the elements; earth, wood, metal, water and fire. It is possible to use these shapes to incorporate subtle yet effective feng shui harmony into buildings. Beside the shapes, elements, direction where the building sits also plays a important part in feng shui. Element Shapes can also be used as a means of enhancing or exhausting certain sectors based on either Flying Star combinations or the 8 Mansions formula.

The five elements of feng shui and shapes

EARTH - Square
FIRE - Triangle
METAL - Circle
WATER - Curve liner
WOOD - Rectangle

Five Elements and Shapes of Building

Square Shape building represents the element of earth. It will be auspicious if a square building faced or sits in the direction of SW/NE. It is said that square shape building command authoritative with dominance, therefore, it will be suitable for a corporate offices and bank. Enhanced the building with an earth element base, using material such as granite and marble will offer strong earth energy which benefits the luck of the building. SW and NE are the direction for earth element.

Triangle shape building signifies the fire element. The ideal sitting location should be south, the sector of fire. Building with the shape of triangle, the best orientation would be a North-South axis, with the building facing north and sitting south. To enhance the luck of the triangle building, the alternative location would be for the building to sit East or Southeast, in this way, the wood element would then feed the building's fire element.

A circle or Sphere shape building signifies the metal element. So long there is a curve within the overall building in concept, it suggests that the building is a circle shape. It needs not to be overall circle in shape. To enhance the luck of the building, the use of glass and steel are beneficial. Such buildings are excellent sitting West or Northwest, so facing East and Southeast.

A curve liner building symbolizes the element of water. Water is an element that is constant movement. Curve liner buildings adopt a prominent curve form that extends throughout the building design. The curve liner gives a powerful statement of visual 'wave'. Shopping malls or exhibition centres will benefit from this design concept. Curve liner building forms are efficient for creating the flow of speed. It is advisable to avoid building with such shape for office or residential locations. The direction for a water element building should be to face South and sit North. Use full steel-base "look" material for the base of the building to enhance the water element of the building.

A rectangle shape building is associated with the element of wood. Many popular of high-rise building shapes is the rectangle. It will be beneficial if the building can incorporate wood or water elements energy. Avoid glass and concrete dominate the building. Blue-tinted glass, which represents water energy, is a good ideal for the building. Once can also provide the building with a "wood' look as enhancements. Feng Shui Baby Names

There are various ways to pick a baby name. The ways vary from different Feng Shui schools. Feng means wind, while Shui means water. Feng Shui Masters found a way to relate Feng Shui with baby name.

Chinese astrologers use Feng Shui on how to pick a baby name. The name at birth is very important to the baby and couple. A good shape name brings good luck to the holder of the name.

Kua Numbers

The astrologers determine the Kua number of your birth year. Kua number tells whether the name is auspicious, or inauspicious. The Kua number calculations vary between female and male. The general idea is to add the last two digits of the birth year until you produce a single digit. Then, you subtract to 10.

For example, 9 is the Kua number for 1973 birth year for male. First, you add 7 and 3. You will get 10. Then, you add 1 and 0. You will get 1 which is a single digit. You subtract 10 by 1. And, the Kua number is 9.

For female, the calculation varies slightly. You add 5 after you add the last two digits of the birth year. For example, 4 is the Kua number for 1973 birth year for female. First, you add 7 and 3. You will get 10. Then, you add 10 and 5. You will get 15. Next, you add 1 and 5. You will get 6 which is a single digit. Finally, you subtract 10 by 6. The Kua number is 4.

Eight Characters

The eight characters are more commonly known as Ba Zi. The astrologers look at the eight characters to tell the useful element. There are three commonly way to use the eight characters. First, the astrologers find any lacking element to complement another element. For example, the wood is a lacking element. The astrologer finds a name that is associated with wood such as timber, branch, forest, and bark.

Second, the astrologer finds the required element. For example, the word requires water and earth. The water is a missing character. The astrologer supplies a character associated with water.

Lastly, the bad baby names are used to ward off evil spirits on the old days. They believe the evil spirits lose interest with a bad baby name. For example, rat, and snake are good example.

Yin and Yang

The Chinese characters compose of strokes. In Feng Shui, the total number of strokes also matter. Depending on the school, Feng Shui master tells you the correct number of strokes. The Ying is the even number of strokes, while the Yang is the odd number of strokes.

What is Feng Shui?

Feng shui is an ancient art that incorporates principles of balance and the flow of chi or vital energy. For about 4,000 years, the Chinese have been using feng shui to ensure good luck, health, and prosperity in their lives.

In this article, we will attempt to provide a Feng Shui primer to telecommuters in a home office.

Chi

Feng shui practitioners generally believe that chi must flow freely throughout a home or building. This energy flow can be enhanced to take advantage of its beneficial effects in all aspects of home and business life. If the chi is blocked, it can manifest in illness, loss, or failure. Problems can be ?cured? to release the energy, usually through the right design or placement of furniture, or the use of colors or symbols.

Because it is believed that the flow of chi affects the productivity, efficiency, and the overall success of a business, practitioners use feng shui in offices and commercial centers. The principles of feng shui can also be applied to home offices, especially with the rise of telecommuting.

Feng Shui for Telecommuters

If you work at home, why not try these simple tips and see what happens:

Home Office Location

Choose your location. Take advantage of the energy coming from the front door by situating your home office towards the front of the house, and on the same level as the entrance or even above. If you are a telecommuter, keep your work area separate from your sleep area. If your office is in the bedroom, use a screen to hide the office at night.

Furniture Placement

Pay attention to desk placement. The placement of your desk will affect how you feel while you work. The best place for your desk is facing the door but not directly across it. You will find that sitting with your back to a wall or a corner will give you a feeling of stability and security rather than with your back to a passageway or to a door or a row of windows.

Color

Use color wisely. In feng shui, colors are associated with certain activities. Telework will certainly be easier if you use the right colors for what you do. Surround yourself with blue-green colors if you are a writer: they soothe you yet keep the creative juices flowing. Yellow promotes discipline and enhances mental clarity. If you work with a team, try using orange or warm desert colors to aid collaboration.

Conclusion

Feng shui is quite simple and practical. Principles such as surrounding yourself with plants and fresh air, keeping your home and office clutter-free, and placing quality items in your home and office can make sense to anyone without knowledge of feng shui. When using it in your home office the bottom line is comfort, creativity, and productivity.

Feng Shui Elements

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Feng Shui is an ancient spiritual discipline based on Yin, Yang and five elements theory. With the proper use of Feng Shui elements in your living spaces you can have Yin, negative energies and Yang, positive energies, perfectly balanced. The harmonious surroundings created by the Feng Shui designs have their positive influences on your life.
A practical advice on how Feng Shui elements should be used in interior design is given only after a through assessment of Feng Shui elements of your living space. A proper adjustment of Feng Shui elements helps us regain control over our lives. With practical Feng Shui interior design changes, your environment has a positive effect on you. All Feng Shui elements have their own unique properties and should be used properly.

The five Feng Shui elements water, wood, fire, metal, and earth help balance the competing energies in your home by negating and supporting each other?s energy. Creatively used Feng Shui elements in home design maintain the yin and yang balance of your environment.
There are five elements of Feng Shui. One element water, as in trickling fountain, can symbolize networking, communication, professional opportunities and wealth, while sink water, toilet water or waste water may symbolize loss of money or poor health.
Wood is another Feng Shui element that promotes development and creative energies in its surroundings. You can use wooden objects to promote motivation, inspiration and passion. Metals are transmitters or conductors of energy. Introduction of a metal generates attention and it is also associated with strength.

Another element of Feng Shui, earth is associated with solidity, stability and permanence. Fire is the most powerful of all five elements. It represents energy and passion and is represented in bright or Yang colors.
Though the Feng Shui elements are important individually, what is more important is the positive or destructive effect that each element can have on one another. For example if you have a room that lacks the wood element, using a wooden Feng Shui decorating would not suffice. You need water element as well because it enables wood to grow.
When you attain ?ideal? Chi (not too fast, and not too slow) the balance and harmony to your life will return and that can be done with the thoughtful use of Feng Shui elements in interior design.

Sell Your Home Quickly With Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

What the heck is Feng Shui? Originating in China almost 6,000 years ago, Feng Shui literally means "wind"(Feng) and "water"(Shui). Feng Shui is also referred to as "Geo-mancy" or "Earth Wisdom." It is an ancient method of constructing and optimizing residences to bring about happiness, abundance and harmony. It includes architecture, urban planning, interior design, garden design, and placement of objects in our environment. It also involves the layout, framework, materials and colors of building structures.

There are different types or "Schools" of Feng Shui. This accounts for a great deal of the confusion that exists. The two oldest forms are the Form School, which addresses external and internal environments and their effect on the occupants and the Compass School, which uses a compass to determine the orientation of a home and therefore its prosperity.

Why is staging with Feng Shui important? When people walk into a home for sale, they decide within 15 seconds whether they want to buy it. They spend the next few minutes either trying to figure out how to nicely back out of the tour, or mentally whipping out their checkbooks, and trying to make an offer.

What if your home could attract not only buyers, but money, success or even love? Feng Shui practitioners believe that arranging your environment can enhance your life in all of those areas. Now that Feng Shui is becoming a household word, people are starting to embrace it for use in staging their homes for sale in the cooling real estate market.

The First Impression: The Entrance!

In China, red is supremely powerful. It represents relationships, fame, reputation, and wealth. It's also a fabulous color to paint your door. It's very welcoming, and it leaves no guesswork up to potential buyers. They will be able to find the door quickly and easily. It also conveys that the owners are powerful, and even thwarts burglary!

All about Curb Appeal.....

A curvy walkway that lead buyers to your front door is not only good Feng Shui, it's good curb appeal. Plant some colorful flowers, especially red ones, and make sure to fix anything that is broken or dirty. If you house is overgrown with shrubs, have them trimmed back. Buyers need to be able to see what they are buying.

An imaginative paint job is another way to play up your house. If you are lucky enough to have interesting architectural details, use different coordinating colors to maximize the effect. Yellow is welcoming and it makes the house feel grounded.

Balancing out specific rooms

If a client's home has a room that is all wood paneling, we would say it had "too much Wood". We would balance out the wood by adding metal and fire, to "bring the wood down" a bit. Metal and Fire could be literal, or figurative. A metal table would qualify as "Metal", but so would a large gray rug, since gray is the color of metal.

Adding Fire might mean adding red candles all along the mantelpiece of the fireplace, or figuratively, painting some of the walls red, which is the color of Fire.

Oftentimes home stagers place a bowl of fruit out in the kitchen. A Feng Shui consultant might place that bowl of fruit in the South East corner of the kitchen, or the "Wealth Corner", since fruit is a symbol of wealth, to pump up the wealth of the occupants while they are selling the house.

Top Ten Feng Shui Hints for Selling Your Home

  1. Paint your door red!
  2. Clutter is the opposite of Feng Shui. Go for S-P-A-C-E by clearing out EVERY unnecessary item from your home.
  3. Keep your porch and outside lights on at night! Make sure people can see your house numbers - make them large!
  4. Make sure you cannot see a toilet from the bed. If your bathroom is directly in view, mask it with a decorative Japanese screen, or hanging curtain.
  5. Make sure your feet are not pointing out the door while in bed. This is the "death" position. If you have to angle the bed, do it. The bed should be symmetrical - with matching nightstands and lamps.
  6. A headboard is key. If you don't have one, get one, or make one. Paint the bedroom a soothing, light, neutral color, such as green, gold, taupe or beige.
  7. No heavy beams or heavy light fixtures directly over the bed. You can paint beams the same color as the ceiling to make them visually "go away".
  8. When planning seating arrangements, make sure no one has their back to the door.
  9. Let there be light! Add lighting or mirrors to blah areas to pump up the energy.
  10. Go for Yin, as well as Yang. Make a nice flow throughout the house by adding a round dining room table.
Kitchens and Bathrooms sell homes

It may seem obvious, but the best thing you can do for your home is to clean it (thoroughly) and remove all the clutter. With Feng Shui, you want to affect all the senses of prospective buyers. Even if the place looks amazing, a cat box smell can be a real show stopper. Light some pleasant smelling candles during your open house, or simmer a small pot of water on the stove with cinnamon or other spices in it. It will fill the home with a smell of something baking in the oven.

Men's favorite scents? Fresh cut grass, apple pie, and vanilla. If you can find a way to have all three going at your open house, bravo!

Women's favorite scents? Warm scents (like vanilla) top the list of Midwestern women's favorite scents. Women in the South go for clean/soapy scents. Almost everyone loves lavender.

In the kitchen, stage it so people can imagine cooking there. A large bowl of Granny Smith apples is a wonderful design touch. Or, put a bottle of wine on the table, with a decorative cheese and cracker plate next to it. Help the buyers use their imaginations.

If you can swing it, replace outdated fixtures, countertops, etc, with inexpensive but lush-looking solutions....such as a stainless steel "cover" for your dishwasher - which will instantly update it. A "remnant" of granite can be used to replace an outdated bathroom vanity for a really luxurious and updated feeling. To save money, do the demo yourself.

In both kitchen and bath, you can regrout the tile - in lieu of replacing it - for a fresh, clean look.

Super tip for the bathroom: scour your filmy shower door with one part muriatic acid and 10 parts water. Scrub it with steel wool. After rinsing, you will have a brand new looking shower door.

In Feng Shui, the bathroom is about getting rid of waste - consequently, you want to make the experience as pleasant and "spa-like" as you can. Add some plants, seashells, or other things from nature. Spring for some new colorful towels to quickly change the vibe. Remember, a can of paint costs about $25 and it provides the single biggest impact.

The Master Bedroom

The master bedroom should appear large, balanced, and "gender-neutral". This means that a flowered bedspread and pink walls are out. A classy duvet cover is a great inspiration for a design theme. Colors like beige, brown, cream, yellow, gold, maroon, and green are "gender-neutral".

If you need help, call the pros. People definitely need to see the master bedroom as a large, luxurious space. Remove personal items, such as framed photos, and stacks of papers. The buyer wants to picture what it would be like to move right in. Having personal items around makes them feel like an outsider.

Seeing the outside from the bedroom is a big plus. If you can, install a french door that leads to the garden.

Living rooms - focus on fireplaces, seating and lighting

If you have a fireplace, consider yourself lucky. If it's blah, you can quickly add zing by either painting it a contrasting color to the wall, or adding decorative hand painted tiles on the surround, for example. Keep items on the mantle to a minimum. Just a few key pieces is all you need. Put at least one tall, dramatic item on the mantle - a vase with flowers, a tall statue, candlesticks, a topiary, etc.

Hang either a key piece of artwork over the fireplace, or a mirror - but make it dramatic.

If you have a historic home, do not do any major work to the fireplace without consulting a professional. You could seriously bring down the value of your home by disturbing original elements.

When grouping your seating, make it "L-shaped", or "U-shaped" not "confrontational". In Feng Shui, when two couches are placed opposite each other, it actually causes people to become confrontational with each other, instead of having a nice flow of conversation.

To make the room feel more formal, make sure each piece of furniture has an end or side table. To make the room feel less formal, use a large ottoman instead of a coffee table. Stage the room with a snack or fruit on the coffee table, and some soft music playing. By all means, unless it's 90 degrees out, have a fire blazing in the fireplace! If your fireplace doesn't work, put a large candelabra inside, and light candles on it.

Play up your unique features

In Feng Shui, water is like money, flowing around you. If you have a water view, by all means play it up. Other super selling features are sun porches, wraparound porches, guest cottages, detached garages, finished basements, and original historic details.

Any way you can distinguish your home will help it sell. To pump up your home's "reputation", place red objects in the southern part of any room. Red is Fire, and Fire is the Element of Fame/Reputation.

Feng Shui and your personal taste Feng Shui is really an art, or a science. People often worry that Feng Shui will "clash" with their personal style. Others fear that it is a religion! Feng Shui is definitely not a religion. It is a way of balancing out an environment such that the energy meanders and flows in a beneficial way - and that, in turn, is palpable to the occupants and guests.

People tend to fixate on things they have heard, such as "Purple is wealth". While purple is definitely a prosperous color, if the client doesn't like it, we can offer a variety of other options, depending on their personal taste, and what's best in the environment.

Balance is what Feng Shui is all about. Whether it's your business or your home, having the right energy flowing through it is crucial. Oftentimes, after we Feng Shui a client's home for selling, they are so pleased with the results, that they decide to take it off the market and stay!

Real Estate Marketing with Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

One of a Realtor's challenges in listing a house is to persuade the sellers to "stage" it for presentation. Potential buyers are put off by cluttered counters and overflowing toy boxes - not to mention overflowing kitty litter boxes! Ideally, the house should look like no one lives there - or like the owners have full-time maid service.

All Realtors recommend getting rid of clutter to create a spacious feeling, keeping the drapes open to fill the rooms with light, and keeping everything clean and neat. But sometimes that doesn't quite do the trick.

Sometimes the cleanest, neatest house just doesn't "feel" good. And that's where feng shui comes in.

You may or may not believe in the power of color and placement to create good energy flow and bring all you desire into your life. You may not believe that energy flow makes a difference at all.

But you'll have to agree that some houses feel like homes, while others only feel like houses. They feel cold and uninviting.

By using the principles of feng shui, you can create warmth in a cold house. You can even make old and shabby look inviting. It's all about balance, and blending the colors of nature. With feng shui, every room has some earth tone, some red or purple, some black or blue, some yellow, and some white. Each room also has some sign of "life" in the form of flowers or green plants.

The idea is to either have or represent fire, water, earth, wood, and metal - and to be sure that no one of them overpowers the others. Think of rooms you've been in that were all glass and chrome - did you feel comfortable? Probably not, because it was out of balance.

The result of a feng shui slant to decorating is a room that feels good - a room where you might want to stay and chat a while.

I don't know why it works, and I don't care why. I just know that it does work, and that buyers are more drawn to a house that feels like a home. So if you're having a hard time selling a house that should sell quickly, look at it from the standpoint of feng shui. Then make some gentle decorating recommendations to the sellers.

Bookstores offer a large variety of books on the subject, but do take time to look through them before you buy. Some are complicated and some recommend buying all kinds of strange objects. My favorite is The Western Guide to Feng Shui. It's easy reading and shows how to use objects that most people already have.

Once you've convinced your sellers to make these small changes, you can advertise "This house feels like home," and you'll be telling the truth.

Feng Shui And Home Staging

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Staging your home in preparation for its sale is a very important factor you have to consider. It?s an effective way of attracting more buyers and speeding up your home sale. Just like marketing any product which entails good packaging, presenting a comfortable and organized home is always a plus.

In staging your home, you may want to incorporate some feng shui practices to increase your home?s value and attractiveness to buyers. It does not matter if you believe in this ancient Chinese practice. The important thing to remember is that feng shui just might contribute in the fast sale of your home and in selling it at a higher price.

The first thing you will have to focus on is to engage the senses of your prospective buyers in as many ways you can think of. A home that has lots of horizontal space will surely engage the sense of sight. So be sure to clear your kitchen counter tops, dressers and shelves. Keep in mind that most buyers go for a spacious home and not a crowded one. To engage the sense of smell, cinnamon or pine scents are highly recommended over the vanilla or floral scents. And to engage the sense of sound, a gentle or soothing music playing or the sound of a fountain during a buyer?s visit will be well appreciated.

First impression in home selling is vital for potential buyers. Make sure then that from your driveway and front yard up to the different rooms in your home, everything is pleasing to the eyes and provides a comfortable homey feeling. Feng shui should come into play in this aspect. The front door of your home should be clean and well-lit if a buyer is visiting after dark. A nice doormat should be in place and fresh flowers or plants should be on both sides of the entrance.

As early as possible, you should get your own personal stuff out of the house. This is to bring more positive and moving energy into the house. Take away all clutter from your front yard to the different parts of your home. Clutter is negative chi that can keep your energy down and might be passed on to your potential buyer if not thrown away. Clutter may take the form of dirt and dust as well as old and unused things like magazines, accessories and old clothes.

The kitchen should promote a friendly, healthy and prosperous atmosphere. Most buyers consider this room as the important part of the house. Better make yours sparkling clean and organized including your pantry. Be sure that your wastebaskets are out of sight, too.

As for the bathroom, always keep its door shut and the toilet lid down. Remember that potential buyers should never see a bathroom unless they actually go see it for themselves. These two powerful feng shui tips are meant to create positive energy into your home.

In home staging, presentation is key and with the application of feng shui guidelines, there?s a good chance that your home will draw buyers easily.

Home Staging with Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Combining Feng Shui and Home Staging helps my clients sell their homes fast. Statistics show that staged homes sell 50% faster and for 6.9% more than homes that have not been staged. Feng Shui, which is the art of balancing the seen and unseen elements or forces, assists in this process. There are 71,000 homes for sale in the metro Atlanta area.

Home Stagers are trained professionals who know how to change an environment so potential buyers can see themselves living in it. I use Feng Shui because it is practical and makes sense. The first thing we look at with Feng Shui is safety. When this is used for the potential sale of a home then anyone entering will automatically feel safe. We?re dealing with subtle and subconscious forces and sensibilities. People can not always articulate what they feel in a particular environment but they usually know when it feels like somewhere they want to spend time or somewhere they want to leave.

The buzzword for 2007, according to Chinese Astrologers is the combination of water and fire or steam. ?This energy is going to cause big movements and big changes. Working with Feng Shui in any year means balancing all 5 elements. For instance, bring in plants as the wood element. Add mirrors to bring in the water element. Add round or oval objects as the metal element. Display animal prints for the fire element. And add earth tones as the earth element.?

There is more to Feng Shui, than the mere presence of the elements. ?The physical placement of everything causes the energy to flow or be blocked and it is the natural and powerful flow of energy that is the goal. A visually pleasing scene is a by-product of having all the elements balanced in a particular environment.

I am a very practical Stager and Feng Shui Practitioner. As much as possible I work with my clients? existing furniture and accessories. Staging is sometimes referred to as ?use what you have decorating?. Feng Shui is happening all the time. The fun and power is doing it or using it consciously and intentionally.?

Jonni Vann is a certified Feng Shui practitioner and has been practicing for more than 10 years. Home Staging was part of her practice before it was the latest ?buzz word?. For more information go to: http://www.homestagingwithfengshui.blogspot.com or jonnivann@yahoo.com

How to Improve Your Love Life with the Power of Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

FENG shui (say "fung shway") is the art of creating a home environment that supports the life you wish to live. A key element of feng shui is creating a smooth flow of chi (positive energy) through your space. Chi likes to move through your home as though it were a gentle breeze or a meandering stream. Where it is blocked, the energy becomes stagnant--like a pond choked with algae and fallen leaves. You are likely to feel blocked in life, and your energy and enthusiasm for matters of the heart will be low. Balancing and correcting the chi of your bedroom helps encourage and invigorate romance. Here are some quick and easy ways to improve your love life by improving the energy of your home:

1. Clean up your bedroom
When your bedroom is cluttered and untidy, the energy in there will be low and slow. Clutter is a sure sign that chi is stuck, so roll up your sleeves and clean the place up if you want to jump-start your love life. Ring a bell, shake a rattle, or clap your hands loudly around the room to clear out old, stale energy.

2. Make room for love
If you want to attract a new romantic partner--or move a casual relationship closer to commitment--make sure there is space for that person in your home. Look at your closets, shelves, and dressers, especially in the bedroom; if they are all filled to capacity with your own stuff, make clearing some room for your current or future partner a priority. Aim to free up 25% of the space in your bedroom for someone else's things. When you are done, take a moment to visualize your loved one's belongings finding a home there.

3. Don't work out in the bedroom
When you exercise in the bedroom, or store your sports equipment there, you bring the energy of hard work and exertion into your romance space. Do you want your relationship to feel like a tough workout? If not, move your workout stuff somewhere else; your relationship is likely to move along more smoothly.

4. Remove old relationship energy
Go through your home--especially your bedroom--and remove anything that reminds you of past failed relationships; this could be an ex-boyfriend's old sweater you find in the closet, photographs of you with a previous partner, a gift that reminds you (unfavorably) of a giver with whom you are no longer in love--anything that reminds you of a love that went bad. No matter how incurable a romantic you may be, do NOT keep old love letters anywhere in your bedroom unless they are from someone with whom you are still blissfully paired up.

5. Remove inappropriate imagery
The images with which you surround yourself can have a powerful effect on your love life. Feng shui clients who complain of difficulty finding romance often have surrounded themselves with images of a person alone. Inappropriate imagery includes anything that represents solitude, loneliness, aggression, hard work, conflict, or disagreement in any way. That old photo of your Dad when he was in the army may be a treasure, but the wartime energy it carries doesn't have any place in the bedroom; find another place to keep it.

6. Open the door to love
Make sure both the front door of your home and the door to your bedroom open easily and completely. Doors that stick, squeak, or that only open partway because of all the stuff stored behind them are blocking the flow of romantic energy and opportunity into your home. A loose doorknob on your bedroom door could mean you're having a hard time "getting a handle on" romance; get out your screwdriver and tighten it up.

7. Create a path for chi
Walk slowly from your front door to your bedroom, pretending that you are a gentle river of chi. Look for any areas where furniture or other belongings are stopping or slowing the flow of chi, or where chi is diverted away from the bedroom to other areas of the house. Clear a path so fresh chi can find its way to your bedroom and nourish your love life. Make sure all the lights along this route are working, replace any burned-out bulbs, and be alert for dark or dingy corners where you can increase the energy by adding more light.

8. Move your bed
If one side of your bed is against the wall, the person who sleeps on that side may feel confined or disempowered in the relationship. If possible, place the bed so there is equal space on either side, so you and your partner can find equal enjoyment in the relationship. The ideal position of the bed will be on the opposite side of the room from the door, but not directly in line with it. If you can't see the bedroom door from the bed, hang a mirror where it will provide a reflected view of the entry.

9. Bring romance chi into the bedroom
Be sure to place romantic imagery in these two key places in the bedroom: the wall opposite the foot of the bed (where you naturally look when lying in bed), and whatever area of the room you first see when you enter. Beautiful, romantic artwork is always good, as are fresh or silk flowers and anything in pairs (such as birds, cherubs, candles, or decorative pillows). A round mirror is also good for the bedroom, as the shape signifies completion and unity. Look around your home for whatever says "romance" to you, and find a good spot for it in your bedroom.

10. Clarify your intention
Make a collage of images that symbolize your perfect relationship, and place it where you will see it every day. If you are already in a relationship, invite your partner to make a collage with you, to represent your intention to build a joyful and loving future together.

Feng Shui for Singles: How to Attract a New Love to Your Life

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Despite successful careers, loads of money, fantastic looks or physique, the truth is even the most seemingly perfect single people will tell you that they would be happiest if they had someone to love. It is said that there is someone for everyone, it is just a matter of finding that someone. Ay, and to quote Shakespeare, theres the rub.

If you talk to a scientist, youll hear that meeting someone is just a matter of numbers. If you can raise your exposure to a greater number of potential candidates, then you raise the likelihood of cupids arrow hitting the mark. Well, most single people I know are surrounded by thousands of people everyday at the grocery store, at the office, in airports, at the gym, etc., etc., but they havent met the person that pulls their heartstrings.

Maybe you have tried singles mixers, speed dating at the local sports pub, or even resorted to having your friends set you up with eligible singles. And what if all that turns up zero? Then maybe its time to see if your house, your office, or your business could be undermining your efforts to gain a suitable partner in love. So, what exactly are the key elements for singles to look for when determining if the energy of their space is killing their romantic prospects? You are about to find out. Now, get ready to make a serious assessment of your space to open your life to a new love!

1. Is a man or a woman missing in your life?
You could be without a special someone because you are missing a NW or SW corner! Every space must have a NW and a SW corner. These are the cornerstones of a space, and in feng shui thought, the two most important sectors. The NW corresponds to a man and the SW corresponds to a woman. So, if you are a single woman, you need to activate your NW sector, or a single man, the SW sector. By the same token, both single men and women need to activate the SW sector because it is also the sector of marriage, romance, and relationships.

If your NW or SW corners are missing, or afflicted by a toilet, kitchen, storeroom, etc., then you begin to see what the problem is. How do you correct this? If you are extremely serious about finding someone, then moving might be an option. However, less drastic measures are also available. Use these tips to guide you.

If the NW or SW corner is missing: Place a mirror on the wall where the NW corner should be so that it visually expands. Outside, where the missing corner is, try to delineate this space with a light pole, a heavy rock or object, or create a fenced area or garden to put back this missing area.

If the NW/SW corner has a toilet: Make sure this room has a mirror in it. Keep the door closed. You can also try the following remedies of placing a heavy rock in the NW toilet, and candles and red objects in the SW toilet. DO NOT make the mistake of putting candles or red objects in the NW or a stone in the SW because this will make things much, much worse!

If the NW/SW has a kitchen:
In the NW, this is a very bad placement. Kitchens in the NW are not good. You can try to add stones here, such as geodes, or whatever strikes your fancy. You can also paint this room a beige color. This will help strengthen the NW energy with the earth element of the beige color. Avoid water or fire elements in the NW kitchen as these hurt the precious NW energy.

In the SW, add pairs of objects here, such as setting a place for two at the table, even if there is only one dining! You can also had a stone object here or paint the kitchen beige to add more earth energy.

2.Tap your personal marriage and romance direction.
Orient the bed or sleep with your head pointing in your marriage and family direction based on your kua number. Move your desk to face this direction (although, you should make sure you do not ever have your back to the door). Eat facing this direction, and enter doors from this direction.

Here are the orientations for both men and women:

NumberOrientation
1South
2Northwest
3Southeast
4East
5Northwest (male)
West (female)
6Southwest
7Northeastearth/fire
8West
9North

Besides using the doors according to your kua number, sitting, eating, and sleeping, you will also want to energize the corresponding areas in your living room.

3. Fake it until you make it.
Make your bedroom appear as if a couple lived in it. So be sure to decorate it in a gender-neutral manner (no fussy flowers and pastels or severely masculine rooms). Make sure there are pairs of lamps (one on either side of the bed), and pairs of objects in the bedroom.

Put lots of romantic images in here! Display pictures or figurines that say romance to you. Pictures of couples kissing, holding hands, anything to inspire your loving feelings. Some people intentionally remove any pictures of romance because they dont want to be reminded that they are lonely. Wrong. You need to be reminded and inspired because it will work to activate you more to seek out a new partner.

4. Activate the man and woman in your space.
You should activate your home, your bedroom, your garden, your desk, and your office, and any other space you occupy to increase the influence of the NW and SW energies.

FOR WOMEN ONLY:
To activate the MAN area (NW) in your space:

Desk: Put a phone or fax here, add a radio, or put the computer on this corner of your desk, place a picture of a handsome man here, or add a moving metal sculpture; (metal pendulum clocks are great).

Home/Living Room: Put your television or stereo in the NW sector (unless it is the bedroom). Or, you can put manly objects in this area if it is your bedroom. Objects such as books a man might read (or your ideal man would read!), the sports page, or a picture of a handsome man (or men? Chippendales calendar, maybe?) in this location is good.

Bedroom: A CD player with romantic music that you listen to nightly would be wonderful in a NW corner of the bedroom.

Yard: Place a shepherds hook here and hang a windchime on it. Anything metal would be excellent here.

Office: Gold windchime with a fan gently blowing to make it tinkle softly. This is also a good idea in the living room.

FOR WOMEN AND MEN:
Remember, both women and men want to activate the SW corner of their homes, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and desks! Thats because the SW corresponds to romance, marriage, and women.

To activate the WOMAN and ROMANCE area (SW) in your space try these ideas:
Desk: Place a beautiful stone (such as rose quartz) or a beautiful vase in the SW corner of your desk. You can make a copy of the double happiness symbol and place it on this corner; its believed to make married men out of confirmed bachelors. Add red items in this location, crystal objects (a crystal pendulum clock would be wonderful here!), or red crystal paperweight is also a perfect addition. You will also want to place a copy of the Double Happiness symbol here.

Home/Living Room: Make sure the SW sectors of your home and living room have love objects appropriate to the SW corner. This can be a terracotta or porcelain vase, candles, picture of a mountain, such as Ayers Rock, would be especially auspicious.

Bedroom: A CD player with romantic music that you listen to nightly would be wonderful in a SW corner of the bedroom. Place a lamp in this corner and make sure it stays on at least 3 hours a day. Better still, keep it on the entire day while you are out!

Yard: Place a large boulder or group of boulders here. Or, place a cement bench in this location. You may also wish to put a statue of a couple in this location, or plant some red or pink flowers here.

Office: Add a picture here of a mountain (provided it is not directly in front of you), or some other romantic scene that is tasteful. A lamp in this location is also a good idea.

5. Eliminate the old to bring in the new.
If you have pictures of old boyfriends and girlfriends hanging around, then theyre still there! Get rid of the pictures and mementos. Make sure that you have new sheets, too, to sleep on. Old energy can linger in the bed as well.

One single woman (she was divorced) had pictures of her ex everywhere and wondered why her love life was poor. What man wants to compete with a former boyfriend or worse, an ex-husband.

6. Employ some magic.
Some feng shui stems from Chinese folklore and superstition. But if it helps you draw Mr. or Ms. Right, who cares, right?

Rainbows for love.
Hang a crystal in the SW windows. Then, let the suns rays shine on the crystal to create rainbows in the SW sector of your house for extra romantic energy in your space.

Use a magic box.
This is said to draw a spouse to you. Purchase a silver box, either round or square shaped. Write your deepest desires for a spouse on a piece of paper. Place this box in the SW or NW corner of the house, in a cupboard or out of sight. A square box should be placed in the SW and a round box in the NW.

Usng Feng Shui to Harness the Power of Your Intention

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Master Lin Yun, founder of Black Hat Tibetan Feng Shui, has stated that making Feng Shui enhancements without intention, is only 10% effective. However, add intention and you'll get a 120% improvement!

If you listen to successful people talk about what makes them successful, one of the elements is being clear about what they want. And it's not just a vague idea, like to be happy, or to be wealthy. Their goals are SMART goals, they are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. So, what's the outcome you are going for? How will you know when you reach it?

Everything around you affects you. Whether it's a pile of clutter, a relationship that is dragging you down, or a broken doorbell - everything is part of what you are creating, whether you are conscious of it or not.

Learning about Feng Shui will give you a heightened awareness of how you interrelate with everything in your environment. That's quite a responsibility. So, the question becomes - do you want to go through your life hoping things work out, or do you want to design a fulfilling and passionate life for yourself? Do you want to be the cause or the effect?

Applying Feng Shui with intention will set your life on an altered course. You're making a commitment - it's powerful. I've seen clients begin Coaching, or Feng Shui, feeling stuck in an aspect of their lives, and within one week had several options magically open up to them. They unleashed a series of opportunities and opened up a pipeline to possibility. It's also about focus. What you focus on expands, and when you move from focusing on feeling stuck, to a wider view of focusing on outcomes, the Universe steps in to support you.

And why not go for some BHAGs? they are Big, Hairy, Audacious Goals. Live your life as a daring adventure. You have the opportunity to create whatever you choose for Your life, so think big!

The clearer you are about what you're choosing to create, the greater the chance of having what you want, and the more effective the Feng Shui. Clearing clutter, or placing enhancements with intention is extremely powerful. It's the difference between making a 10% improvement or making a 120% improvement.

Maximizing the Power of Your Enhancements

Use these tools to create an environment of success that will support powerful outcomes for yourself. Make your self a priority and design the life of your dreams.

1. Get clear and very specific about your desired outcome, and write this down.

2. Remove the clutter and clean the area.

3. Choose an enhancement - something that represents the change you would like to create, and place it in the appropriate area of your home or room.

4. Visualize or imagine your outcome as if its already happened - how does it feel?

5. Speak your desired outcome out loud, in the present tense. Always add, 'this or something better, for the Highest Good now occurs'. An example is: I now have 2 new clients who are a perfect fit for me. This or something better, for the Highest Good now occurs.

6. Start taking action towards your outcome.

Sometimes your Higher Power, sees a much bigger picture than you do, so don't place any limitations on what you might receive.

Feng Shui will move you towards the next step in designing your life.
