Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art, where placement of objects in a room depends on the movement of chi or natural energy of our environment. Based on the patterns of nature, a Feng shui master will tell us where to place every individual object in our home or workplace. A master will also provide advice on how a building should be positioned on a property. Feng Shui shows us how to support the flow of energy in our lives for better health and prosperity.

The best location for a bedroom, according to Feng Shui is in the rear of the home. This is where it is said that all "restful" energy lies. In order to preserve this energy the bedroom should have only one door connecting it to the rest of the house. It is best that the bedroom is not located over a garage. If it is, to preserve a restful sleep, one must use heavy solid objects on the floor or hang a mirror on the garage ceiling so that it will reflect the image of the car away from the bedroom. If a kitchen is located over the bedroom, place a mirror on the ceiling of the bedroom reflecting downward, sealing off the bustling activities occurring in the kitchen.

There should always be a door connecting the bedroom and the bathroom, and the door should always be kept closed. Feng Shui recommends not having a television in the bedroom as it causes less interactions between couples. If one is present, it should be covered when not in use. A work station in the bedroom is also discouraged as is exercise equipments because these release opposite energies than that of restful energy.

Mirrors in a bedroom can be a problem as they are said to reflect one's negative energy when one is sleeping, thereby causing nightmares. This principle applies to any object that reflects like paintings, computer screens or metal surfaces.

Feng Shui recommends that a person sleep with legs facing away from the door because such a position is referred to as the "coffin" position. Colors in the bedroom should be subtle, as should the colors of bedroom furniture. Clean up clutter in the bedroom including closets for good energy.

Bedrooms are rooms to go to for peace and relaxation. To distract negative energy Feng Shui encourages a good circulation of natural energy and plenty of fresh air.

How to Improve Your Love Life with the Power of Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

FENG shui (say "fung shway") is the art of creating a home environment that supports the life you wish to live. A key element of feng shui is creating a smooth flow of chi (positive energy) through your space. Chi likes to move through your home as though it were a gentle breeze or a meandering stream. Where it is blocked, the energy becomes stagnant--like a pond choked with algae and fallen leaves. You are likely to feel blocked in life, and your energy and enthusiasm for matters of the heart will be low. Balancing and correcting the chi of your bedroom helps encourage and invigorate romance. Here are some quick and easy ways to improve your love life by improving the energy of your home:

1. Clean up your bedroom
When your bedroom is cluttered and untidy, the energy in there will be low and slow. Clutter is a sure sign that chi is stuck, so roll up your sleeves and clean the place up if you want to jump-start your love life. Ring a bell, shake a rattle, or clap your hands loudly around the room to clear out old, stale energy.

2. Make room for love
If you want to attract a new romantic partner--or move a casual relationship closer to commitment--make sure there is space for that person in your home. Look at your closets, shelves, and dressers, especially in the bedroom; if they are all filled to capacity with your own stuff, make clearing some room for your current or future partner a priority. Aim to free up 25% of the space in your bedroom for someone else's things. When you are done, take a moment to visualize your loved one's belongings finding a home there.

3. Don't work out in the bedroom
When you exercise in the bedroom, or store your sports equipment there, you bring the energy of hard work and exertion into your romance space. Do you want your relationship to feel like a tough workout? If not, move your workout stuff somewhere else; your relationship is likely to move along more smoothly.

4. Remove old relationship energy
Go through your home--especially your bedroom--and remove anything that reminds you of past failed relationships; this could be an ex-boyfriend's old sweater you find in the closet, photographs of you with a previous partner, a gift that reminds you (unfavorably) of a giver with whom you are no longer in love--anything that reminds you of a love that went bad. No matter how incurable a romantic you may be, do NOT keep old love letters anywhere in your bedroom unless they are from someone with whom you are still blissfully paired up.

5. Remove inappropriate imagery
The images with which you surround yourself can have a powerful effect on your love life. Feng shui clients who complain of difficulty finding romance often have surrounded themselves with images of a person alone. Inappropriate imagery includes anything that represents solitude, loneliness, aggression, hard work, conflict, or disagreement in any way. That old photo of your Dad when he was in the army may be a treasure, but the wartime energy it carries doesn't have any place in the bedroom; find another place to keep it.

6. Open the door to love
Make sure both the front door of your home and the door to your bedroom open easily and completely. Doors that stick, squeak, or that only open partway because of all the stuff stored behind them are blocking the flow of romantic energy and opportunity into your home. A loose doorknob on your bedroom door could mean you're having a hard time "getting a handle on" romance; get out your screwdriver and tighten it up.

7. Create a path for chi
Walk slowly from your front door to your bedroom, pretending that you are a gentle river of chi. Look for any areas where furniture or other belongings are stopping or slowing the flow of chi, or where chi is diverted away from the bedroom to other areas of the house. Clear a path so fresh chi can find its way to your bedroom and nourish your love life. Make sure all the lights along this route are working, replace any burned-out bulbs, and be alert for dark or dingy corners where you can increase the energy by adding more light.

8. Move your bed
If one side of your bed is against the wall, the person who sleeps on that side may feel confined or disempowered in the relationship. If possible, place the bed so there is equal space on either side, so you and your partner can find equal enjoyment in the relationship. The ideal position of the bed will be on the opposite side of the room from the door, but not directly in line with it. If you can't see the bedroom door from the bed, hang a mirror where it will provide a reflected view of the entry.

9. Bring romance chi into the bedroom
Be sure to place romantic imagery in these two key places in the bedroom: the wall opposite the foot of the bed (where you naturally look when lying in bed), and whatever area of the room you first see when you enter. Beautiful, romantic artwork is always good, as are fresh or silk flowers and anything in pairs (such as birds, cherubs, candles, or decorative pillows). A round mirror is also good for the bedroom, as the shape signifies completion and unity. Look around your home for whatever says "romance" to you, and find a good spot for it in your bedroom.

10. Clarify your intention
Make a collage of images that symbolize your perfect relationship, and place it where you will see it every day. If you are already in a relationship, invite your partner to make a collage with you, to represent your intention to build a joyful and loving future together.

Limiting Beliefs: Allow Feng Shui and Alternative Treatments to Help You Heal

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

As Feng Shui Consultants, we are told to reach for the sky. To put our Intentions out for what we want to attract back to us. We are taught the Laws of Attraction, The Power of Intention, Getting our Name out to the Universe. These are new thoughts and belief systems for some, but it's gaining ground. More people then ever before are starting to believe and becoming more spiritual and are finding it impossible to deny there really IS something to all of this "positive thinking."

Years ago I worked in a wonderful, completely Wholistic Center. Many of the people that came there for "treatments" were there because their doctors had turned them away; they were the hopeless cases. Cancer, MS, advanced heart dis-ease flocked to the center looking for another way to heal. And there, they found it. It is amazing to me still that watching these people come in, so saddened and downtrodden by what they had been told but they held out their beliefs that there was hope and help for them.

It has long been said that you have to give up your life force before you can pass; many of these people, though beaten down, were simply not ready to "cash it in." And surrounded by love and non invasive, pure energy treatments such as Acupuncture, Amma Therapy, herbs, a change in diet and everything natural created miracles. I saw people heal, come in with better attitudes, begin to smile again and finally to laugh at times. I saw the fear go away and these people start to heal.

In retrospect, while I am an absolute believer in all forms of Energy Healing and recommend it to my clients (with their doctor's permission, of course), I believe it was also the love showered on these people by their practitioners. They instilled hope, belief, light and a new way to look at things. They gave them the tools to help them create their own healings by their own Intentions, attitudes and pure energy they transmitted to their patients. Double the energy is energy intensified.

The patients were stopped from having the "limiting belief" ideas that had been instilled in them as they went from doctor to doctor, hearing the worst news. They were not taught about their own powerful energy, universal laws, that we come from source energy and it has every thing we could need or want in our lives. We just forget or aren't sure how to connect to it. And that's when we lose our way.

Don't limit your belief system. Reach out to the Universe, send out the best possible thoughts and intentions even (and especially) when times are difficult. If we live by the law of attraction, we will get back exactly what we send out. If you are having a difficult time connecting or are just plain "stuck," get some assistance. There are some wonderful, well known energy healers that can give you insights and help you release some of the negative energy that perhaps is stored in your body from those stressful times. Don't be afraid to reach out, find help and learn that you really CAN heal yourself. Don't limit YOUR beliefs, your Intentions are much more powerful then you are likely to ever realize. Now it's your turn to reach for the sky.

Using Feng Shui to Embody Your Inspiration

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Who inspires you, who makes you envious? The answers will help you design your life!

If there's someone who inspires you, or someone you envy - that is your heart giving you a clue as to what you want more of in your life. These questions will help you embody your inspiration.

1. Who inspires you?

2. What is it about their life that resonates most strongly? Is it what they are doing, or is it how they are being?

3. What could you do to incorporate more of this into your life?

4. The Helpful People & Travel area of your home or office is a good place to put symbols of people who inspire you. It could be a photograph, you could place their name on a piece of paper in a silver box, use an example of their work, or place something symbolic there.

5. The Children & Creativity area relates to projects and creativity. Place a symbol of what this person represents to you there.

6. The Knowledge & Self-Cultivation area represents awareness and knowledge. Place a symbol of the inspiration you would like to embody in this area of your home.

You can place these enhancements in that particular area of your home, or of a room, such as your office or bedroom. Those two rooms are where people usually spend the most time, so will have a greatest impact on you.

For a visual representation of the various areas of the Bagua, what they represent and how to find them in your home, see:http://www.LifeDesignStrategies.com/BaguaMap.html

Maximizing the Power of Your Enhancements

1. Get clear about what you want to create.

2. Make sure the area is clutter free.

4. Make space for insights, awareness and creative ideas to come to you. You can do this by taking time to just 'be' - no errands, emails or to-dos!
