The Chinese Zodiac Astrology is ancient, interesting, accurate and loved by millions across the world. The Chinese Zodiac is based on cyclic concept of time : a cycle of 12 years, repeated again and again. The 12 Years are associated with 12 Celestial Animals : Rat (or Mouse on Mongoose), Ox (or Buffalo or Bull or Cow), Tiger, Rabbit (or Hare or Cat), Dragon, Snake (or Serpent), Horse, Goat (or Sheep or Ram), Monkey, Rooster (or Hen or Cock or Chicken or Phoenix), Dog and Pig (or Boar or Hog). The animal names occasionally differ with the Oriental Country they originate. The Chinese Yearly Horoscopes are basically built around these 12 Animal Signs.

Your Chinese Astrological Zodiac Animal Sign is directly based on the Chinese Lunar Year of Birth that you were born. The Chinese New Year is mobile and could start anywhere between 21st January and 20th February, depending upon the year. If your Date of Birth falls into any of the following Chinese Lunar Years, then, because you are born in the Year of the Pig (or Boar or Hog), you are symbolically identified by your Celestial Animal, the "Pig (or Boar or Hog)" :

From 30 Jan 1911 to 17 Feb 1912

From 16 Feb 1923 to 04 Feb 1924

From 04 Feb 1935 to 23 Jan 1936

From 22 Jan 1947 to 09 Feb 1948

From 08 Feb 1959 to 27 Jan 1960

From 27 Jan 1971 to 14 Feb 1972

From 13 Feb 1983 to 01 Feb 1984

From 31 Jan 1995 to 18 Feb 1996

from 18 Feb 2007 to 6 Feb 2008

In Chinese Hsia Calender, 2007 is the 4704th year and significantly, is also the fourth year of the New Feng Shui Land Luck Cyclic Period 8. The forthcoming new Chinese Lunar Year is from 18th February 2007 to 6th February 2008. The next Chinese New Year, the Yang Earth Rat will begin on 7th February 2008.

Enjoy the Annual Forecasts and learn about the suggested Feng Shui & Crystal Remedies that you may need for the coming "New Lunar Year 2007 : Ding Hai, the Year of the Yin Red Fire Pig" :

CAREER A very unstable year with your luck in it's lowest ebb. Your path is laid with obstacles. Your working environment will turn hostile and you will be surrounded by people jealous of you. In 2007, your Celestial Animal Pig is offending the Year TaiSui (Grand Duke Jupiter) and is simultaneously also in Self-Punishment formation with the Year God. This creates uncertainty in many aspects of your life, especially your Career. This will give you the momentum to do anything at anytime, even if you are not ready to do it. You will feel restless, will overlook your confines, refuse to recognise your weaknesses, misjudge people and situations and end up with a lot of troubles. In other words, you are your biggest enemy this year. Backed by the energy of the TaiSui you will be continuously haunted by rumours and gossips and many of you will be back-stabbed more than once. You will be unable to achieve anything on your own this year. So seek the advice and guidance of friends or family members when you face problems. Many of you will lose your authority and power that you have been enjoying for quite some time now. Business persons should understand their boundaries and never overstep them. They should be defensive, low-profile and spend a lot of time in maintaining their status quo and in fighting off their competition. If you are an employee, accept the ground realities without resisting it and patiently wait for better times. Ignore provocations especially those from your colleagues or boss or you will end up losing a lot. There is no running away from the problem either - changing job or an internal transfer will not serve any purpose right now. You would do somewhat better if your career is related to sales, travels counter, tourism, import and exports. Whether you are self-employed or salaried worker, you are in dire need of the blessings of the TaiSui this year. Display the genuine, energised photographs of "Feng Ji, the 2007 TaiSui" and the "TaiSui Protection Talisman for 2007" in the North West and carry their miniature versions in your pocket or purse, for minimising the severe negative impacts. Do not attend burial ceremonies or cremation rituals this year.

MONEY Money luck is bad too. The flow of finance is not only irregular but insufficient also. Do not expect any windfall gains this year. Prepare shoe-string budgets and stick to it prudently. Put a reality check on your buying desires and balance your lifestyle to accommodate the tough times. You might be forced to shift your home or office this year with a huge expense tagging it. Avoid investing in quick money schemes and the volatile share market. Do not sign as a guarantor for anybody. Draw up a contingency plan with emergency funds - you might need it before the year runs out. Keep a set of 3 Qing Dynasty Square Coins with square holes in the center : you need their emperor luck. If you were born in 1971, you could face a law suit.

HEALTH Bad health, cuts, bleeds and injuries are some of the other penalties that you have to pay for have offended the Year TaiSui Feng Ji. Work fatigue, depression and insomnia will be constantly affecting your day to day life. Unwind, relax and meditate. Take quality food in time. Avoid risky sports. Be careful when you take the stairs. Drive slowly and carefully. Obey the rules of the road religiously. Chances of a road accident is very real. Hang a golden metal Wou-Lou in your car to avoid motor accidents. Handle sharp metallic objects carefully. Visit your dentist regularly and get your teeth cleaned up. You can try and prevent the destined "bloodshed" by voluntarily donating blood. To minimise all the sick energy surrounding you, hang a large, natural Chinese Wou-Lou by your bedside. If you were born in 1983, you might lose an elderly family member or a business partner this year.

LOVE You do not have much love luck either this year. Singles have slim chances of finding a stable partner to settle down : they better concentrate on their career or studies. Married Pigs will have many domestic troubles. You will be dogged by rumours here too. Your unbalanced emotions and work stress will create an environment of misunderstandings and conflicts and damage your marital life. If you are living away from your family and allow communication gaps to happen, you could even face separation. Spend quality time with your family. Be communicative and tolerant. Trust and allow to be trusted. Display the combined statue of the ultimate cosmic couple : the Dragon & Phoenix in the South West of your bedroom to build up harmony. If you were born in 1983 and married, your marriage could break down unless you are very careful.

STUDIES An average study luck combined with distractions from unwanted companionship will bring down your grades. Fix realistic targets and work for reaching them on a daily basis, to avoid disappointments. Install a Green Jade or Green Aventurine Pagoda Tower in the North East of your study room to perform better in your exams.

Birthstone : Moonstone Good Relationships with : Rabbit and Goat, for 2007 Conflicts with : Snake and Monkey, for 2007 Polarity Force : More Yin Lucky Numbers : 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 16, 18, 34, 41 and 48 Zodiac Protector : Amida or Amithabha (Sanskrit)

A NOTE ABOUT REMEDIES :

The above analysis has suggested some remedies/cures for reducing the impact of negative energy and has recommended certain enhancers for increasing and improving upon the beneficial energy of the year. For the remedies/enhancers to be effective, they should be cleansed, energised, blessed and programmed not only for the particular individual/family but also for the specific purpose/problem. They should also be placed in the indicated location, to derive the maximum benefit. Any or all of these remedies can be reused for the forthcoming new years, but they may have to be repositioned according to the specific new year.

How Shapes Of Buildings Implicate Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

There is something about shapes of buildings, which in feng shui are associated with one of the five elements. Basically, these shapes are; square or cube, rectangle, the circle or sphere, the wave or curve liner, and the pyramid or triangle. Each of this shape represents or associate with five of the elements; earth, wood, metal, water and fire. It is possible to use these shapes to incorporate subtle yet effective feng shui harmony into buildings. Beside the shapes, elements, direction where the building sits also plays a important part in feng shui. Element Shapes can also be used as a means of enhancing or exhausting certain sectors based on either Flying Star combinations or the 8 Mansions formula.

The five elements of feng shui and shapes

EARTH - Square
FIRE - Triangle
METAL - Circle
WATER - Curve liner
WOOD - Rectangle

Five Elements and Shapes of Building

Square Shape building represents the element of earth. It will be auspicious if a square building faced or sits in the direction of SW/NE. It is said that square shape building command authoritative with dominance, therefore, it will be suitable for a corporate offices and bank. Enhanced the building with an earth element base, using material such as granite and marble will offer strong earth energy which benefits the luck of the building. SW and NE are the direction for earth element.

Triangle shape building signifies the fire element. The ideal sitting location should be south, the sector of fire. Building with the shape of triangle, the best orientation would be a North-South axis, with the building facing north and sitting south. To enhance the luck of the triangle building, the alternative location would be for the building to sit East or Southeast, in this way, the wood element would then feed the building's fire element.

A circle or Sphere shape building signifies the metal element. So long there is a curve within the overall building in concept, it suggests that the building is a circle shape. It needs not to be overall circle in shape. To enhance the luck of the building, the use of glass and steel are beneficial. Such buildings are excellent sitting West or Northwest, so facing East and Southeast.

A curve liner building symbolizes the element of water. Water is an element that is constant movement. Curve liner buildings adopt a prominent curve form that extends throughout the building design. The curve liner gives a powerful statement of visual 'wave'. Shopping malls or exhibition centres will benefit from this design concept. Curve liner building forms are efficient for creating the flow of speed. It is advisable to avoid building with such shape for office or residential locations. The direction for a water element building should be to face South and sit North. Use full steel-base "look" material for the base of the building to enhance the water element of the building.

A rectangle shape building is associated with the element of wood. Many popular of high-rise building shapes is the rectangle. It will be beneficial if the building can incorporate wood or water elements energy. Avoid glass and concrete dominate the building. Blue-tinted glass, which represents water energy, is a good ideal for the building. Once can also provide the building with a "wood' look as enhancements. The best directions for this type of building, is to sit East, Southeast or North.

Feng Shui for Singles: How to Attract a New Love to Your Life

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Despite successful careers, loads of money, fantastic looks or physique, the truth is even the most seemingly perfect single people will tell you that they would be happiest if they had someone to love. It is said that there is someone for everyone, it is just a matter of finding that someone. Ay, and to quote Shakespeare, theres the rub.

If you talk to a scientist, youll hear that meeting someone is just a matter of numbers. If you can raise your exposure to a greater number of potential candidates, then you raise the likelihood of cupids arrow hitting the mark. Well, most single people I know are surrounded by thousands of people everyday at the grocery store, at the office, in airports, at the gym, etc., etc., but they havent met the person that pulls their heartstrings.

Maybe you have tried singles mixers, speed dating at the local sports pub, or even resorted to having your friends set you up with eligible singles. And what if all that turns up zero? Then maybe its time to see if your house, your office, or your business could be undermining your efforts to gain a suitable partner in love. So, what exactly are the key elements for singles to look for when determining if the energy of their space is killing their romantic prospects? You are about to find out. Now, get ready to make a serious assessment of your space to open your life to a new love!

1. Is a man or a woman missing in your life?
You could be without a special someone because you are missing a NW or SW corner! Every space must have a NW and a SW corner. These are the cornerstones of a space, and in feng shui thought, the two most important sectors. The NW corresponds to a man and the SW corresponds to a woman. So, if you are a single woman, you need to activate your NW sector, or a single man, the SW sector. By the same token, both single men and women need to activate the SW sector because it is also the sector of marriage, romance, and relationships.

If your NW or SW corners are missing, or afflicted by a toilet, kitchen, storeroom, etc., then you begin to see what the problem is. How do you correct this? If you are extremely serious about finding someone, then moving might be an option. However, less drastic measures are also available. Use these tips to guide you.

If the NW or SW corner is missing: Place a mirror on the wall where the NW corner should be so that it visually expands. Outside, where the missing corner is, try to delineate this space with a light pole, a heavy rock or object, or create a fenced area or garden to put back this missing area.

If the NW/SW corner has a toilet: Make sure this room has a mirror in it. Keep the door closed. You can also try the following remedies of placing a heavy rock in the NW toilet, and candles and red objects in the SW toilet. DO NOT make the mistake of putting candles or red objects in the NW or a stone in the SW because this will make things much, much worse!

If the NW/SW has a kitchen:
In the NW, this is a very bad placement. Kitchens in the NW are not good. You can try to add stones here, such as geodes, or whatever strikes your fancy. You can also paint this room a beige color. This will help strengthen the NW energy with the earth element of the beige color. Avoid water or fire elements in the NW kitchen as these hurt the precious NW energy.

In the SW, add pairs of objects here, such as setting a place for two at the table, even if there is only one dining! You can also had a stone object here or paint the kitchen beige to add more earth energy.

2.Tap your personal marriage and romance direction.
Orient the bed or sleep with your head pointing in your marriage and family direction based on your kua number. Move your desk to face this direction (although, you should make sure you do not ever have your back to the door). Eat facing this direction, and enter doors from this direction.

Here are the orientations for both men and women:

NumberOrientation
1South
2Northwest
3Southeast
4East
5Northwest (male)
West (female)
6Southwest
7Northeastearth/fire
8West
9North

Besides using the doors according to your kua number, sitting, eating, and sleeping, you will also want to energize the corresponding areas in your living room.

3. Fake it until you make it.
Make your bedroom appear as if a couple lived in it. So be sure to decorate it in a gender-neutral manner (no fussy flowers and pastels or severely masculine rooms). Make sure there are pairs of lamps (one on either side of the bed), and pairs of objects in the bedroom.

Put lots of romantic images in here! Display pictures or figurines that say romance to you. Pictures of couples kissing, holding hands, anything to inspire your loving feelings. Some people intentionally remove any pictures of romance because they dont want to be reminded that they are lonely. Wrong. You need to be reminded and inspired because it will work to activate you more to seek out a new partner.

4. Activate the man and woman in your space.
You should activate your home, your bedroom, your garden, your desk, and your office, and any other space you occupy to increase the influence of the NW and SW energies.

FOR WOMEN ONLY:
To activate the MAN area (NW) in your space:

Desk: Put a phone or fax here, add a radio, or put the computer on this corner of your desk, place a picture of a handsome man here, or add a moving metal sculpture; (metal pendulum clocks are great).

Home/Living Room: Put your television or stereo in the NW sector (unless it is the bedroom). Or, you can put manly objects in this area if it is your bedroom. Objects such as books a man might read (or your ideal man would read!), the sports page, or a picture of a handsome man (or men? Chippendales calendar, maybe?) in this location is good.

Bedroom: A CD player with romantic music that you listen to nightly would be wonderful in a NW corner of the bedroom.

Yard: Place a shepherds hook here and hang a windchime on it. Anything metal would be excellent here.

Office: Gold windchime with a fan gently blowing to make it tinkle softly. This is also a good idea in the living room.

FOR WOMEN AND MEN:
Remember, both women and men want to activate the SW corner of their homes, bedrooms, living rooms, offices, and desks! Thats because the SW corresponds to romance, marriage, and women.

To activate the WOMAN and ROMANCE area (SW) in your space try these ideas:
Desk: Place a beautiful stone (such as rose quartz) or a beautiful vase in the SW corner of your desk. You can make a copy of the double happiness symbol and place it on this corner; its believed to make married men out of confirmed bachelors. Add red items in this location, crystal objects (a crystal pendulum clock would be wonderful here!), or red crystal paperweight is also a perfect addition. You will also want to place a copy of the Double Happiness symbol here.

Home/Living Room: Make sure the SW sectors of your home and living room have love objects appropriate to the SW corner. This can be a terracotta or porcelain vase, candles, picture of a mountain, such as Ayers Rock, would be especially auspicious.

Bedroom: A CD player with romantic music that you listen to nightly would be wonderful in a SW corner of the bedroom. Place a lamp in this corner and make sure it stays on at least 3 hours a day. Better still, keep it on the entire day while you are out!

Yard: Place a large boulder or group of boulders here. Or, place a cement bench in this location. You may also wish to put a statue of a couple in this location, or plant some red or pink flowers here.

Office: Add a picture here of a mountain (provided it is not directly in front of you), or some other romantic scene that is tasteful. A lamp in this location is also a good idea.

5. Eliminate the old to bring in the new.
If you have pictures of old boyfriends and girlfriends hanging around, then theyre still there! Get rid of the pictures and mementos. Make sure that you have new sheets, too, to sleep on. Old energy can linger in the bed as well.

One single woman (she was divorced) had pictures of her ex everywhere and wondered why her love life was poor. What man wants to compete with a former boyfriend or worse, an ex-husband.

6. Employ some magic.
Some feng shui stems from Chinese folklore and superstition. But if it helps you draw Mr. or Ms. Right, who cares, right?

Rainbows for love.
Hang a crystal in the SW windows. Then, let the suns rays shine on the crystal to create rainbows in the SW sector of your house for extra romantic energy in your space.

Use a magic box.
This is said to draw a spouse to you. Purchase a silver box, either round or square shaped. Write your deepest desires for a spouse on a piece of paper. Place this box in the SW or NW corner of the house, in a cupboard or out of sight. A square box should be placed in the SW and a round box in the NW.

The 7 Feng Shui Fundamentals for Children's Bedrooms

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Feng shui is a very popular and intriguing concept in home design today. In addition to the life benefits it provides, it also offers a roadmap, so to speak, of not just how to decorate... but why. In short, it offers you, the homeowner, design with purpose. For a child's room this purposeful design is especially important.

Feng shui gives parents a guide for decorating your children's bedrooms, and perhaps more importantly, a reason for adding particular elements -- something standard decorating practices don't always offer. What does that mean exactly? Well, when it comes to a child's bedroom, feng shui dictates everything from correct bed alignment, proper bedroom choice, essential decorating and design elements, i.e., do's and don'ts (no vicious animals, etc.) for a child's room, even how to influence the child to be studious and well-behaved -- all things most parents would appreciate knowing.

The purpose of feng shui in a childs bedroom is the same as every parents objective in decorating their childrens rooms: to create a healthy, happy environment that fosters education, good health, happy relationships with parents and siblings, and respect for parents. Children and parents can enjoy success and healthy relationships if the environment supports them.

Naturally, children must feel safe, secure, and cared for to thrive. By putting interest and effort into your childs room, you are showing your child that you believe the childs space, and therefore, your child, is important. The tips presented here are some of the fundamentals of feng shui for children.

1.Place a happy picture of the parents in the childrens rooms.

This subtly exerts the authority and prominence of the parents as heads of the household. It is also one of the quickest and most effective ways to bring a problem child into line.

2.Align the childs bed to the widest part of the room.

Make sure your child can see the door from his or her bed easily, but is not in direct line of the door. Your child should also not share a wall with a toilet or see a toilet or bathroom from the bed as this can cause health problems.

Bunk beds are not advised. If possible, try to have a separate bedroom for each child. If this isnt possible, there are lots of decorative ways to create division and privacy within a room.

3.Create a space for study and accomplishments.

Having a dedicated space, including a desk and lamp where your child can study, demonstrates to your child the importance you place on education and your childs educational achievement. If this has been a source of problems, make the study position in the NE corner of the bedroom. Also make a place on a south wall, if possible, of your childs accomplishments. Doing so reinforces that you are proud of your childs efforts. Display drawings, crafts, awards, trophies, ribbons, or other special items, such as tests with good scores or letters from teachers. Place items here that have brought special recognition.

4.Make the childs room a healthy place. Water pictures, aquariums, or sounds of water that can be heard from the bedroom can create an unhealthy environment and may even lead to respiratory ailments. This is especially important if the child has any health problems, particularly asthma.

5.Clear the space so your child can rest and be creative.

Jammed closets and drawers, beds with boxes, shoes and other items underneath must be cleaned out. Creating space and visual openness helps your child to feel less pressured, and more likely to be imaginative and creative. More is definitely not more when it comes to kids. Give them a visual rest and clear out all the stuff they havent played with in a month or more.

6.Use light, color, and artwork in the room to make a happy environment.

A childs room should stimulate, not dampen, the childs spirit. Make sure there is adequate lighting for the desk, for a bedside table, and that windows can be closed off for privacy.

Rooms that are painted blue (unless its a bright or light-colored shade) or other dark colors can be depressing and create too much oppressive energy. Bright colors, such as yellows, light greens, purples and pinks are good choices, with yellow being the optimal choice.

Monitor the images your child sees being certain to eliminate images of ferocious or dangerous animals or violence. These are poor symbols for making a child feel safe in the bedroom. Select items for the room that inspire and intrigue a child to learn and that foster his or her sense of security.

7.Position children in the correct bedroom locations.

If possible, boys should be placed in the east or north bedrooms and girls should be placed in the south or southeast or west bedrooms.
