10 Keys To Using Color With Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

For those that are looking to change their lives and want to take a fresh, organic and affordable path to that goal, Feng Shui is the answer. Feng Shui is much more than just organizing your belongings in a particular way to allow for optimal chi flow, it is an entire state of mind.

Feng Shui is much more effective if used in conjunction with other aspects of your life like positive thinking, honest living and meditation. Those aspects of your life work like a magnifying glass that helps to grow and nurture your chi so that not only can it flow freer, but it can also be more powerful.

There are even more things you can do with Feng Shui than just arrange your furniture. Since Feng Shui is so closely related to one's well being, each color is associated with a particular mood, goal or feeling. Depending on what you are trying to achieve with your Feng Shui, whether it be wealth, health or love, there are individual colors that you want to focus on to help steer your chi in the direction you want it to go in. Here is a list of what each color means to your chi and what you can do to help it.

A few tips to start with: Not everyone likes every color, so if you feel you need to add a color to an area, but it's not a color you're particularly fond of, try to find a shade of that color you like, or, at the very least, find an object that you feel strongly about that is colored with the chosen color. Feng Shui will be much more effective if you have a positive reaction to everything you see in your home. Don't add a color just to add one.

? Blue - Blue is the perfect color to use in the area in which you meditate. It has a very calming affect and it is highly associated with peace and comfort. Blue is excellent to use in a bedroom situation or a place you want to get away from it all. It's also good in any room that you seek relaxation in on a regular basis like a den or living room.

? Red - Red represents truth and power. It is a good color to use in an area where you work. The home office or den or anyplace you do work should have at least some red in it.

? Green - Not only is green the color of money, it is also associated with health and vitality. It is the perfect color for the bathroom, or anyplace where medical supplies in your home are kept. Hang a green charm in a closet that your first aid kit is kept to help your chi there. It is also good for any room where the family gathers together, like a dining room or living room.

? Purple - As it has for thousands of years, purple is related to majesty and royalty. It works closely with red to help build wealth. It works anywhere where you would put red since wealth and fame tend to go hand in hand.

? Pink - Pink isn't just for girls anymore, since it is a combination of red (truth and power) and white (purity), pink is highly associated with love. Great for the bedroom or any other place you and a lover are intimate.

? White - The purest color stands for just that. It is also associated with spirituality and is perfect for any children's room or any place in your home that you look to keep morally pure and clean.

? Grey - Used for transition and connection. Most followers of Feng Shui choose grey for their garage or a vestibule area that connects the inside world to the outside. Grey is also good to use if you add an addition onto your home. You can paint or hang something grey at the line where your old home ended and your new extension begins.

? Black - Not a commonly used color, but it does work in small amounts. It usually stands for negative chi, but if used in areas that have a powerful chi component, areas that are usually painted red or purple, black can work in your favor by absorbing the bad chi and keeping the good chi pure. Don't overdue it with black, but in small amounts it can really help out.

? Yellow - Yellow isn't for cowards, it stands for tolerance and authority. It works well on the entry way into the parents bedroom, as well as colors for any lists of chores for kids. Anyplace you feel you need to exert the family pecking order, yellow is the color to use.

? Gold - It's no surprise that gold is associated with wealth. Use in conjunction with purple and red to help build the wealth in your home office.

Feng Shui can seem mysterious on the surface, but once you break it down, the color system becomes clear. Once you've added that extra Feng Shui touch here and there, you can expect to see the results sooner rather than later.

What You Should Know About Your Pets And Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

So, you've decided to look into this Feng Shui thing and you've started to make some changes around your home. You've rearranged a few things here, put out a few good luck charms there and you've adjusted your color scheme accordingly.

You've bought into the power of positive thinking bit and you've been slowly replacing items that put you in a negative frame of mind. Everything is coming together for the perfect Feng Shui home, expect for one thing. Fluffy and Fido keep treating your new furniture design like it's a jungle gym and you're getting orange cat fur and brown dog fur mixed in with your green and blue Feng Shui furniture.

What to do? Well, there is only so much you can do with the pet dog and cat. Here are a few pointers to help you with pets and Feng Shui in your home.

? Your pet is good Feng Shui. Really, they are! Pets are full of life, vitality and wonderment. Even if you have a big, lazy fat cat, their quiet confidence and approach to the world fills your home with positive energy and not just cat hair. If you thought you had to take Fluffy and Fido to the pound to generate that perfect Feng Shui home, think again. You might want to go to the pound for a second cat, but not to give one up.

? Cleanliness is next to Feng Shuiness - Yes, it's true, you'll be happier and in a better state of mind in a clean home. And nothing is better for your pets than a well taken care of carpet, water dish and cat box. If it takes a build up of cat hair to get you to drag out the vac, then consider your pets a positive influence on your Feng Shui.

? In proper Feng Shui, people and animals must be kept separate. What that means is that if you have a dog, you should make sure he or she gets the proper training to obey commands. If you have a cat, keep them off the furniture, unless it's a piece of furniture that is specifically made for the cat or dog. Make sure you discipline them when they do something wrong and love them when they are good. This will boost your Feng Shui.

? Keep the pets out of the bedroom. Feng Shui is all about love and, as we all know, for couples, most lovemaking happens in the bedroom. Have this as a human-only space. Don't allow the cat or dog into the room at all if you can and don't let the pets sleep on the bed at night since it tends to separate the two people sleeping in it.

? Pets shouldn't be the entire focus of the home. Most people love their pets as much as they love their children, but they should have a space and a place all their own. If you invite company over and the smell of the cat box is the first thing they notice, it will bring in feelings of pity and sadness into the home and that's not going to help your Feng Shui. Neither will having guests scared to death by a big, scary dog every time they come over. Pets should know their place and not rule over the home.

? Don't let a pet compromise your health. If you're allergic to cats, even just a little, it's probably time to give Fluffy to a relative. You won't ever feel optimal if you keep pets that are making you sick around the home. Proper Feng Shui requires a clear, positive state of mind and that can be hard to keep when you're constantly reaching for the Kleenex.

? Don't let too much pet luck ruin you. Yes, pets, overall, are good Feng Shui due to their energy and love, but if you're leaving the house every day covered in pet hair and you aren't confident about your appearance, then you might want to cut down on the number of pets you own. It's all about frame of mind. If your depressed about your appearance due to the pets, change the pet situation.

Your pet's connection to your Feng Shui might be bigger than you think. If you were to sit and write down every aspect your pet makes to your life, the list would be much longer than you probably think.

If you think having a pet is affecting you love life, then you need to decide if having the pet is more important than finding a lover and stick with that decision. Don't let it nag at you and bring down your level of positive chi. Having a pet can be a wonderful experience, but it only helps your Feng Shui as long as you want it to.

Importance of Date Selection in Feng Shui

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

How important is date selection in Feng Shui? Date selection is in fact one of the most important factor in Feng Shui. Often, date selection can be considered s a single subject when you learn or study Feng Shui. Without a good date selected for the execution of Feng Shui, your Feng Shui setup might seems to have no effect at all, or worst of all, bad effects. Most of these bad effects are caused by Sui Po or San Sha (3 killings) of the date or time used to activate the Feng Shui setup or changes. Hence if the Feng Shui setup or changes are done on inauspicious date or time, it will likely brings misfortune to him/her.

There are however plenty of date selection methods out there each with its strength and weakness. Just to list a few date selection systems here:

  • Xuan Kong Da Kua Date Selection
  • Great Sun Date Selection
  • Five Elements Date Selection
  • 4 Pillars Date Selection
  • 9 Stars Date Selection
  • Dong's Date Selection
  • Qi Men Dun Jia Date Selection

So under what situations are is date selection required? Generally, people use date selections for all sorts of events including start of new businesses, property developments, business negotiations, house renovations, shifting of beds, setting up Feng Shui changes, burials, etc.

Some Feng Shui masters tend to suggest to their clients the appropriate changes to their home or working environment without suggesting the date and time to perform these changes. So the next time you engage a Feng Shui master to perform an audit, do remember to ask for an auspicious date to maximise the good effects.

Driven by the strong interest in Metaphysics, Ray is consistently exploring into different fields of Metaphysics. These fields include Feng Shui of different schools, BaZi (also known as 4 Pillars), I-Ching (also known as Book of Changes), Qi Men Dun Jia, etc. Ray is also the webmaster of Feng Shui portal, FengShuiCorner.com (http://www.fengshuicorner.com). The Tradition of the RED Envelopes in Feng Shui

What is all this talk about the Red Envelopes used in Feng Shui? As many consultants differ on methods, cures and other areas of Feng Shui, it appears many of us use the Red Envelopes in different ways as well. We were all trained by different mentors and sometimes view things differently; our methods are all effective in what we?d like to create and please note that these are only MY methods and intentions when using the Red Envelopes.

I actually didn?t know we had a difference as I just assumed we were all taught the same way. The Red Envelopes are used and exchanged when we perform a Transcendental Blessing or ?Cure? in the Black Sect tradition of Feng Shui. As these methods were never supposed to be published in a book, they were only meant to be passed down from Mentor to Student verbally, in our cases, the clients we performed the Blessings for. I describe what is used and why and explain they are an integral part of any Consultation. I have never felt that a Consultation would be helpful beyond a very limited point without them and they are always a vital part of my consultations. Since they are non-denominational, I have never had anyone object to them.

While I was Chapter Director of the International Feng Shui Guild, I finally had an opportunity to meet with some of the other members who expressed an interest in doing a Community Service for Long Island. And it was during this lunch that a discussion of the Red Envelopes came up. I was more then a little surprised to hear from two of the Consultants that I had been using them the ?wrong? way. And that I had apparently been taught ?incorrectly? by several of my mentors who were already Masters of Feng Shui in 1997.

We were taught (repeatedly) that the Red Envelopes are an Energy Exchange, a form of protection for those of us imparting these beautiful Blessings and Cures to another person; and if the other person were to pass them on, they also would need to get Red Envelopes from the recipient. We were further advised that some money should be placed in the envelopes, that amount to be determined by the client; and this money was NEVER, EVER to be kept, it had to be donated. As the years passed I have donated hundreds and hundreds of dollars to various causes such as the Red Cross and St. Jude?s Hospital. If the amounts in the envelopes were small, I would just save them until they had accumulated and then write out a check to different organizations.

It is our part of our duties to sleep near or on the Envelopes provided for a period of Nine nights, Nine being the Auspicious number in Feng Shui. Sometimes we put them on an altar, but we are never far from them during this very important time. And it is also a time to keep up with our clients as some have changes almost immediately while others take longer. If things are changing rapidly, I want to know as I would if they are not moving at all. Remember, the Blessings in and of themselves are very powerful to create and change our surroundings and the Energy in it.

And through the years of my practice I noticed another thing happening with the envelopes; I would get an image in my head or just ?see? something in a home or business that I had not seen or thought of while I was there. With some clients it would be more intense (as some people?s energy are more intense) and I would call or email them to advise them of what had occurred. I decided to try something and asked my clients to write down their Intentions and place them inside the envelopes as well?..surely, I thought, if they are infused with Energy I will get more thoughts and wanted to see what happened.

And I did. The dreams and thoughts became more vivid and clear and sometimes I would see things differently than I had during the consultation; sometimes I would envision something else that should be added. When it was intense I would ?see? things that I didn?t always know what they signified. And at these times, a call to my client was needed, as much for me to try to understand what was happening as well as to advise them. I develop amazing connections with my clients and the Energy that we establish during a consultation will likely keep us connected for years; some of my very first clients are now life long friends. We attract the clients we are meant to have, just as we attract all the people who come into our lives.

Back to the lunch where I was advised that I was ?taught? incorrectly; the Red Envelopes were definitely an Energy Exchange and the amount of money to be put into them were determined by the client above and beyond your fee?it was money to be kept; it was an example of my ?worth? is what they told me. Could I have been so wrong after ten years when I was having such positive results with my clients? I went back to my original notebook, dusted it off and read it cover to cover---and then to the second and third notebooks. ALL of our mentors during the year of 1997 at The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design (which was, by the way, the very first school on Feng Shui Studies that was both licensed and accredited in Feng Shui Studies in the U.S.) had informed us to never keep that money.

I felt that I was in a quandary, felt a lot of (well meaning) criticism and wondered what to do. And I didn?t have to wonder long. I realized through the years of all the unseen and unknown people that had been helped through the kindness of my clients and the donations that had been made. After all, I reasoned, if it?s worked so well for ten years, why change it now? Perhaps I wasn?t taught a ?wrong? way, just a different way but it was working well for myself, my clients and many people out in the universe. The joy of ?gifting? back all these years has always made me feel good and I don?t need money to tell me what my self worth is equal to. I have seen and shared firsthand wonderful success stories with my clients while having helped others around the world. What better gift can Feng Shui give us?

10 Tips For Feng Shui Decorating

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

Feng shui refers to the ancient Chinese belief that focuses on arrangement and placement of things on certain places.

Though there are very few written documentation about the first existence of feng shui, it has survived time and tradition by oral communication and actual practice by the Chinese people.

One might notice that several regulations are derived from common sense and intuition. For example, a cluttered room or office is believed to imbibe bad feng shui, which, in actuality would really hinder productive work due to stress that might be a result of inability to find needed documents from a cluttered table.

Literally meaning "wind and water" feng shui is not simply a style of decorating. Most feng shui practices coincide with various decorating or arrangement styles. In fact, a certain room that accommodates feng shui regulations is more visually attractive and well-coordinated than those that had not been subjected to its practices.

Arrangement of furniture or other materials are considered so as to allow the entrance and passage of "good energy" or chi.

Good feng shui means that the arrangement coincides with nature. For example, the sink should not be placed beside the stove since the water (sink) puts out fire (stove), meaning one element overpowers the other.

Below are 10 tips taking into consideration Feng Shui decorating principles:

1. If possible, before a purchase of any house or a property, the surrounding area must have the following "support".

The first on the list is to look for a "Tortoise" behind the house. This pertains to any man made or natural formation that generally gives a look of protection or support to the over-all structure of the area. A mountain, low trees and a simple fence may do.

Still, all of these must not be higher than the house so as to obstruct sunlight.

A "dragon" must be found on the left side. It would be better if it is higher that the front of the house. A simple fence or a tree might do for its place

A "white tiger" should be on the right side of the house. If it is higher than the "dragon", it would be good for the women of the house. If the "tiger" is lower than the "dragon", is good for the men.

A "phoenix" should be in front, the best of which is a river or a circular flower bed. This may also be a tree or another house.

Simply put, the stated four sides can be attributed to the four sides of a car, it should have 2 side doors, a rear and a low bumper to have a good view of the front lane. All of which are designed to protect the person inside the car.

2. The garden at the back of the house should always be larger than the one at the front

3. Spiral staircases should be avoided. If it is already installed, the bad energy emanating from this can be toned down by placing a faceted crystal sphere.

4. Overhead beams. In general, beams have the notion of carrying the weight of what it supports. Having a lot of beams inside the house (especially if it is exposed) may be the cause of many problems, according to feng shui.

Focal points such as beds, working table, children's study desk should not be directly under beams since this carry around a heaviness sort of feeling to the individual who works or rests under the area.

5. The general outlook of the whole area (land, plants and house structure) must be in good condition and is easy on the eyes.

Good indications are healthy-looking plants and trees around the area and that the house is not so irregularly shaped (with lots of extension protruding from various sides).

The usual square or rectangular shaped houuses are still always the best kinds.

6. "Poison arrows" that is directly in front or pointing to the house should be avoided. A good example is having a lamppost or telephone poles that are directly at the front of a house or is directly across the street of one's home.

To tone down the bad energy that comes from it, a Bagua mirror should be placed in the area where a poison arrow is directed.

7. Long narrow paths that lead to the front door must be avoided.

8. The front and back door should not be facing one another, that is, it should not be in a straight line.

This allows the good energy to only pass through the house.

9. Additional structures that overpower the look of the house should be avoided. This includes swimming pool, gazebos and ponds.

10. Trees at the front of the house must not be higher than the highest point of the house. The ideal length of trees is 6 feet.

Feng Shui - A Panacea For The Stress Of Modern Living?

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

This is one question that is begging for an answer amongst the enthusiast of this ancient Chinese Art of Geomancy. Feng Shui is a living skill practiced by the Chinese over the ages, as far back as 3000 years ago. It is observed that the living environment is abound with life giving energy known as Qi which is dispersed by the wind and gathers at the boundary of water.

How can Feng Shui help us live a stress free life? In today?s borderless world of instant communication, our mobile phone is our constant companion, day in and day out ? so is STRESS! We strive to manage our time and our attitudes during the working hours and hope to end the day productively. The whole process repeats itself the next day and the next day and the next day?

Is there an energy we can tap into for daily rejuvenation? How wonderful if we can start each day fully charged and energized, both physically and mentally, in facing the tasks ahead? What is it that helps some people to look, feel and stay motivated all day long?

The secrets lie in energizing your living space by orientating your sitting and sleeping positions, both at home and at work, based on Feng Shui?s compass directions. If apply correctly, Feng Shui can gives you vitality, mental clarity and tranquility in your daily life.

In one of the many studies and applications of Feng Shui, all of us have our auspicious and inauspicious compass directions based on a formula which takes into consideration our date of birth and gender. The formula computes a number that determines each person ?Personal Kua? and is derived from the numerical 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9. The number 5 is not considered as a Kua number. The Kua number will determine our auspicious and inauspicious compass directions. Each of us has four auspicious and four inauspicious directions. This system of Feng Shui is known as ?Eight Mansions? which is a study of energy distribution within a house that is demarcated into 8 sectors.

To know how the computation of the Kua number is derived, please visit http://www.proactive-qi.com/PersonalKua.html

Based on the Eight Mansion, if you have a Kua number 3 for example, your auspicious directions are South, North, Southeast and East. Correspondingly, South is known as ?Sheng Qi?, North is ?Tian Yi?, Southeast is ?Yan Nian? and East is ?Fu Wei?. What it means is, South is for Wealth & Prosperity, North for Health & Mentor, Southeast for Relationship & Harmony and East for Tranquility & Stability.

So how do we go about applying this system of Feng Shui to energize and revitalize ourselves? If you want success and prosperity, you need to tap into the energy of the south by aligning your sitting position facing this direction. If you are not making any headway in your career and are looking for career advancement or business improvement, you can tap into this direction by having your table positioned in such a way that you now ?face? this direction while you work. If possible, your room door should also face (from inside looking out) this direction as this is actually tapping into your Sheng Qi direction. You should also sleep with your bed (headboard) situated to face this direction and your feet pointing in the opposite direction i.e. north.

If you want health and mentor luck, you have to tap into the energy of the north by aligning your sitting position facing this direction when you work. If you are feeling stressed out and looking to improve your health in general or to recover from a particular illness, you can tap into this direction the same way as mentioned above. The energy in this direction also brings good mentor luck or helpful people into your life. You should also sleep with your bed (headboard) situated to face this direction and your feet pointing in the opposite direction i.e. south.

If you cook at home, you should also orientate your stove or oven to face your Tian Yi or north direction for additional benefit in tapping the heath energy in this direction.

If you want relationship luck, you can tap into the energy of the southeast by aligning your sitting position facing this direction when you work. If you are having problems working with people and are looking to mend your relationship with them or building goodwill with people generally, you should tap into this direction the same way as mentioned above. This Qi helps foster better ties and build rapport with people be it loved ones, family, friends or colleagues. You should also sleep with your bed (headboard) situated to face this direction and your feet pointing in the opposite direction i.e. northwest.

A room door (inside looking outwards) that taps into this direction also helps to usher in relationship luck for you. Likewise, if the main entrance door of your house taps into this direction, you will also receive this positive energy into your home.

If you want peace and tranquility in your life, you should tap into the energy of the east by aligning your sitting position facing this direction when you work. This Qi helps you to relax, regain your composure and provides mental alertness. It is sedative and gives a sense of serenity in your living space. You should also sleep with your bed (headboard) situated to face this direction and your feet pointing in the opposite direction i.e. west.

Conclusion

Well, a panacea it is not, but Feng Shui can be an enabling factor in making your life less stressful, more productive and better organized for success if you take the proactive steps to welcome Qi into your life.

Feng Shui A Superstition?

“ Discover The Secrets That Billionaire Chinese Business Tycoons Know (That You Don't) About Attracting Money, Fortune, Success and Much More Using Simple, Ancient Feng Shui Techniques...! ”

I can show you step-by-step how you too can have more wealth, luck, happiness, career success, health, love, and much more to completely transform your life! . . . with the help of some quick, easy-to-do feng shui techniques!

What is Feng Shui? Is it a myth or superstition?

Feng Shui definitely exists. But it is not as what you seen on TV and movies, possessing great powers to twist one's fate, to gaining power and becoming rich over night.

In actual fact, it is a knowledge, the study and understanding of the environmental influences. How the "Qi" (metaphysical forces of nature) in your residing environment actually affect you. A formula used to enhance one's luck during timely good luck, to achieve the best possible benefits and to prevent and minimize losses and misfortune during untimely ill luck.

It is just as simple as that. Feng Shui is a very practical application to allow one to live in harmony with the environment, to achieve the best possible benefits.

Think of it this way. Life is always full of up and downs. Just recall. Haven't you been in the situation where you were so close to achieving things, to achieving success but somehow with a twist of luck, lose it? And nevertheless, experienced times of extreme ill luck, failing in whatever you do? To explain, everyone will goes through a period of good luck and ill luck in his or her life. This is the law of life. Whether you are rich or poor, a Chinese or European, you can never run away from this change of luck. Haven't you seen many rich who bankrupt over night while some poor unnoticeably become rich and wealthy?

It is always one's action that is behind his or her success. Are you one who always complains about your ill luck but done nothing to help yourself? Opportunities are always there. It is just a matter of whether you know how to grab it.

Many people have this misconception that Feng Shui brings wealth and windfall. This is very wrong. It is rather about opportunities; making use of the understanding of the law or nature and life to effectively help you make the most of chances to achieve success and wealth.

Now, life is fair to everyone. In the path of life, everyone will have his time of good luck. Feng Shui is there to help enhance on it, bringing about positive influences to better your success. And during time of ill luck, to help minimize losses and misfortune to allow you the opportunities to turn things over when yours good luck eventually arrives. With a comfortable and calm environment, surely you will have the best of health, wisdom and strength to meet the challenges in life, to advance towards success? This is what Feng Shui is about.

And to be talking about Feng Shui, we all know that it is a traditional skill, which originates from the olden China. And to be talking about the olden China, it just can't be helped by many to also think of traditional Chinese Cultures. Hence when Feng Shui is the topic, many would naturally relate it with Chinese Cultures or worse, myths that are passed down from the olden days.

This is a very wrong concept of thinking. Feng Shui is never related with Chinese cultures and definitely any myths. It is never about religion, cultures and needless to be saying curses, ghost or deities. Feng Shui is never a superstitious belief.

In the practice of true classical Feng Shui, there is never the presence of any legendary belief and practices. To better correct your thinking, it is a scientific belief; the wise knowledge of the law of nature. This profound knowledge has for this reason got more and more recognized and today, we can actually see the growth of different schools of Feng Shui practices. But whatever differences in Feng Shui practices there may be, the correct Feng Shui application revolve around the basic principle of life - The relationship of the 5 Elements, which bring about the formation of this Universe. They are the Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. All forms in this Universe belong to either one of the five elements and are in one way or another, mutually affecting one another, which in turn affect our life. This is an ever-going cycle in the law of Nature.

Feng Shui is a formula, which cleverly work around the law of Nature.

Based on the philosophy of the productive and destructive cycle of the five elements, the application of Feng Shui help to incorporate one's astrological element accordingly; to be in harmony with the surrounding, bringing about beneficial gains.

Now if you truly understand Feng Shui. Feng Shui is never about placing of objects and items. It is never an interior decoration. Remember, in the law of nature, a stone is just a stone and be it a gold or silver, they are just metal etc and that is it. Think about it. Do you think a fake plant and a real plant can bring about the same influence? If you are destined to meet a mishap in this life, do you think by simply placing an object in your house, you can just avoid things?

It is rather about location, direction and time, knowing how the "Qi" (the metaphysical forces of nature) in our residing environment affect us. Knowing how to harness the correct "Qi" into your residing environment to aid you. Now, if you are destined to meet with some calamity in your life, you just have to face it. But with the correct application of Feng Shui, you can minimize these misfortunes. Making use of the positive "Qi" in your residing environment, you can improve and enhance your life destiny and luck. Instead of meeting with a grave accident, getting away with some minor ones.

And note. Different people react differently to the "Qi" surrounding them. What may be positive for some may just be negative for you. There can never be a standardized one for all Feng Shui formation. And why is this so? Because everyone is born at a different time which mean having a different personal astrological element. For example, if your personal element is Fire, do you think an influence of Water element will benefit or harm you?

Understand also this. The world is always moving and changing with time. In life, you can never have the best of luck all the time. Just like when there is day there is night, when there are times of good luck, they are times of ill luck. This is the basic principle of Yin & Yang.

Over different period of time, your residing environment though remain unchanged will undergo influences of both good and ill luck too.

Correct and true Feng Shui helps to manipulate these influences for you to be able to meet and handle these ever going changes; to allow you to wisely and efficiently face the challenges in life to achieve wealth and success. And this is just how helpful and practical Feng Shui, a tool is.

Feng Shui is never a superstitious belief. It is a profound skill used to manipulate the metaphysical forces of nature to help enhance one's well-being, the art of living in harmony with the nature environment.
